The ride to the top has been swift for this Escatawpa, Ms. band. When the album was released on Feb 15th of this year it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and the momentum has grown ever since. The success of their first smash hit single "Kryptonite" and continuous touring have fueled the album sales. Their second single "Loser" was all they needed to push the sales past the 2 million mark.
The band concluded a successful headlining tour in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. We were on hand to witness the remarkable enthusiasm of the fans at the sold out show. Los Angeles fans are renowned for giving bands lukewarm receptions, that was not the case as touring mates Nickelback made their L.A. debut to cheering fans and once the main event with 3 Doors Down got underway the fans were in pure rock n roll ecstasy.
Reviewers who dismissed 3 Doors Down as a one hit wonder are now eating crow while the world watches this band reach new heights of success.
