Motorhead's
drummer was
busted for raising hell in a Holiday Inn in Denver last Friday. Mikkey
Dee and two other people who are attached to the current Motorhead tour
were arrested after anther guest at the hotel complained about the noise
the three were making in the hallways at 4:30 am.
The
manager of the hotel stated that members of the band were reported to have
been in the hotel bar until it closed at 2am. The intoxicated Dee and two
others apparently mistook another room for their own and woke the occupant
up at 4:30am by pounding on the door. The irritated guest called hotel
security and the police arrested Dee and the two other people with him.
Former
members of the Grateful Dead will be touring
this summer with their new band The Other Ones. The supergroup features
Dead guitarist Bob Weir and drummer Mickey Hart as well as Bruce Hornsby
on Keyboards. Phil Lesh the bassist for the Grateful Dead who was part
of last years canceled tour plans for The Other Ones will not be on this
summers outing, dubbed the Further Festival.
