According to Hole's official web site, Samantha Maloney has taken on the task of fill-in drummer for Mötley Crüe. She began rehearsing with the band on June 13th while Mötley Crüe drummer, Randy Castillo, recuperates from stomach surgery. 

Mötley Crüe is set to headline the Maximum Rock tour with Anthrax and Megadeth beginning June 24th in Sacramento, Ca. Castillo is expected to make a full recovery in time for the tour. However, Maloney will fill in for Castillo if he has not recuperated in time for the kick off. 

In related news: The new Mötley Crüe album, "New Tattoo" will be in stores on July 11th.
