Korn's Jonathan Davis will be the man behind the film score of the new Anne Rice movie, "Queen of the Damned". The film is based on the third novel in Rice's famous "Vampire Chronicles".

Film goers got a taste for the gothic horror of Rice with 1994's "Interview with a Vampire" staring Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Christian Slater. In this new film, Lastat will once again be one of the central characters. This was the role Tom Cruise performed in the original Vampire movie. Rumor has it that American Beauty's Wes Bentley will play the role this time out.

Although the casting is not confirmed, the fact that Davis will be scoring the film is. He will team up with composer Richard Gibb on the project. This will be his first time scoring a motion picture. So all ears are waiting to hear if he can pull it off.

The film will begin shooting in August and there is sure to be more on this story in the months to come. We will keep you Posted.
