The Step Kings are currently in the studio working on the follow up to their critically acclaimed debut, "Let's Get It On!". The band has tapped heavyweight producer Machine (Hed (pe), Pitchshifter) to be the man at the knobs for the new album. The Step Kings Bob McLynn had this to say on the band's official website about their choice of producer, "We've worked with Machine throughout our career and just feel comfortable with him. He makes the s**** exciting as hell, jumping out of the Speakers at ya'. When people listen we want them to feel like they're at a show.  Machine can make it happen."

They entered the studio last month and have set up primary recording at Iiwii studio and The Machine Shop in Hoboken, New Jersey.

No word yet on an expected release date.

They will take a break from recording in early December and head to the UK for a brief tour.
