The world of punk, surf and environmental activism are about to collide in southern California. The Newport Beach chapter of the Surfrider Foundation will be holding a punk rock concert in Orange County, California on January 27th to raise money for their �Teach & Test� program.
The all-ages show will be held at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, California and will feature performances by T.S.O.L., Channel 3, Boobie Trap and Spider. Festivities kickoff at 6:30 PM and tickets can purchased in advance through Ticket Master for $15.
The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting oceans, waves and beaches. The �Teach & Test� program sends representative from the foundation out to area high schools to teach students how to test ocean water for pollution as well as giving them greater awareness of issues relating to ocean water preservation.
