Members of the band has told the press that fans should expect the new album to be heavier but still retain the melodic qualities of their debut. Does this mean that the band views the declining popularity of rap-rock as an excuse to go more rock? Its hard to judge by the information available but the bands rehashing of their debut album into hip-hop remixes didnt sit well with a lot of fans who viewed the remix album as a sellout or gimmick.
The band has reportedly recorded over 50 songs for the album and have narrowed the list down to 15 tracks. One track in particular, "Breaking the Habit," will feature an orchestra accompanying the band and their samples.
A title and track listing are expected to surface soon.
