Punk legends The Damned and Metal legend Lemmy
Kilmister will once again team up to create music together.
In 1979, Kilmister briefly teamed up with
members of the Damned in a project called MotörDamned. Now
it appears that they are joining forces again to create a new project,
according to a posting on the official website for The Damned.
Members of The Damned will be involved
in a recording session with Lemmy from Motörhead early next year,
reads a news update on officialdamned.com. Details are pretty sketchy
at the moment but the recording is scheduled for late Jan/early Feb and
should feature Vanian, Sensible and Pinch along with bass legend Lemmy.
It's not the first time that the band
have recorded with Lemmy and Motörhead, back in 1979 both bands joined
forces in the studio and briefly created MotörDamned.
Expect other high profile artists to appear
and the resulting racket to be unleashed around 2004!!
