Music Industry News site Hitsdailydouble.com is reporting that Cornell has once again joined up with guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Tim Commerford and drummer Brad Wilk of Rage Against the Machine. The project which produced an as yet unreleased album broke up back in May with the fate of the album hanging in the balance. News of the breakup came just one day after it was announced that the new group would perform on this summers Ozzfest. There are reports that Epic still intends to release the album sometime this fall.
The Hitsdailydouble story states that Cornell and Rage are indeed back together and are �seeking a neutral third party for management of the project. Previously, the Rage boys were with Peter Mensch and Cliff Burnstein�s management company Q-Prime, while Cornell was managed by Jim Guerinot�s Rebel Waltz; the new project was co-managed by both companies. It�s unclear whether the respective management affiliations will continue outside of this alliance.�
Hitsdailydouble did not provide a source for their information about the reunion and we were unable to confirm that the band is indeed back together. At this point it appears that the only source for this reunion is the Hitsdailydouble story. They did state in their article, �Reps for Q-Prime declined to comment, while Guerinot was on vacation and could not be reached for comment.�
