Courtney Love will be taking over the MTV2
Airwaves for 24 hours beginning at 8 PM Saturday.
Here is how the MTV2 website is billing
the event:
24 Hours of Live, Unscripted and
Spontaneous Love
24 hour show starts Saturday at 8:00
p.m. (ET) on MTV2
Straight from the MTV studios in
Times Square, Courtney will take over MTV2 for a full 24 hours of live
and spontaneous programming where she will not only host MTV2, but also
program and direct the channel in any way that she pleases.
Hits Double Daily also reports, This is
the first time the network has relinquished control to an artist for a
day, representatives said. Love won't even need to stay awake the entire
24 hours. An MTV spokesman says when she sleeps, the network will probably
show snippets of her dozing. Love will take over the MTV studios in Times
Square for 24 Hours of Love at 8 p.m. Saturday.
