This is part news, part review and part press release

Fans who showed up to the Ink Slingers Ball After-Party at the Cat Club in Hollywood Sunday night (9-22) got a surprise treat, the debut of Josh Todds new band Shotsfired.

It was already a wild night, with a sold out crowd there to check out Kittie Litter Disco, a band that not only rocks but puts on one of the wildest shows this reviewer has seen in a long time. There was far more than music coming from the costumed band (or in the case of one guitarist-totally nude with only a guitar covering his private parts). The band is aided by exotic dancers and descriptions of some of the stage antics and props used are not fit for printing here. Just a word to the wise, if you ever have a chance to see Kittie Litter Disco its well worth it.

Todd, the former vocalist for Buckcherry played a special unannounced set. The club was already packed to the gills with people there for the Ink Slingers Ball After Party and a performance from Kittie Litter Disco hosted by Happenin Harry for a special edition of his weekly Happenin Harrys Hellhole which takes over the Cat Club every Sunday night. Like a few shows in the past this one was also presented in association with antiMUSIC, since Happenin Harrys Hellhole is our usual Sunday night hangout and is always an antiMUSIC good time.

One of the cool things about Harrys shows is you never know who is going to show up to hang out or jam and some nights are a whos who of rock and Sunday Nights show was no exception with Josh Todds new band Shotsfired playing their very first live show. To steal a line from Spinal Tap, if Buckcherry was 10, then Shotsfired goes to 11, their 45-minute set was explosive and the temperature in the club literally climbed a few degrees while they were on stage. Shotsfired performed a set of new original tunes and the crowd ate it up, if this show was any indication of what we can expect from this band, then a new hard rock powerhouse has been born.

Happenin Harry explains how the surprise show came about, I had already planned the after party for The Ink Slinger's Ball. A couple of weeks ago I ran into Josh one night and we talked a bit. Ya know...the usual what's been going on, etc... Ive known Josh for several years from the good 'ol days in Hollywood. I remember when I used to book his old band Slamhound shows (I always thought they were great). As everyone already knows,  Buckcherry is no more.

As far as SHOTSFIRED the new band. He mentioned that he was working with these guys that he met and started writing with. It sounded cool...(and for those of you who know me, I don't like anything! hahahaha), Harry explained. Anyway, we exchanged numbers and I left [On Sat] I gave him a call and asked if he wanted to go to The Ink Slinger's Ball. I met up with him and a couple of guys from his band and we went to see some INK!

Before he left I invited him to the party at The Cat Club. I told him if he wanted to jam, let me know...? He talked to his guys, and it was done. And, THEY ****IN' ROCKED HARD! He did let me know that playing gigs wasnt in the near future, but a special surprise appearance could happen [as it did on Sunday night]. He just wanted to test the new tunes. And, I must admit....they passed the test with a 110%!!

The songs rocked, the band was solid, and Josh is one of the BEST frontmen that the music scene has seen in over 10 years!

As Harry said, Todd and Shotfired are keeping things under wraps as they write material in the studio for their debut album, with anticipated release next summer, but knowing Harry he will talk them into doing another special appearance, since Sunday nights show went so well and yes they did ROCK HARD.

Well keep you Posted on developments with Shotsfired and if we hear about any other special appearances, dont worry well pass along that info as well. But now you know when Harry says he has something special up his sleeve, he means it!  Hope to see some of you at future Happenin Harrys Hellhole shows, which take place at the Cat Club in Hollywood every Sunday night and it is worth mentioned that beginning Oct 2nd, Harrys Wednesday Nights party Happenin Harrys HoLLyWEirD is returning to the Cat Club and will be co-promoted with award winning film producer Lauren Stalnecker which promises to deliver "LIVE talent and an abundance of Celebrity sit-ins from Major Motion Pictures, Television, and Music STARS!  Plus keep your eyes open here at antiMUSIC for a new series called The Hot Seat with Happenin Harry where Harry will interview some top-notch celebs from the entertainment industry.  That promises to be a lot of fun too  well keep you Posted.
