Man Rushes Britney Spears' Stage In Las Vegas

(Radio.com) A Britney Spears show in Las Vegas turned dramatic Wednesday night (August 9) when a strange man rushed the stage. Fan footage from the concert shows the unidentified man creeping behind the performance while Britney performed at the front of the stage.

As she turned around, Spears realized that something was wrong and paused her performance of "Crazy." A swarm of male backup dancers and bodyguards tackled the intruder to the floor, while Britney spoke to a security professional about the developing situation. TMZ reports that Britney asked if the man had a gun; though it's a bit hard to tell from the audio.

The man's struggle with shirtless backup dancer lasted a matter of seconds, before he was hauled away from the stage. Fans booed the stage-rusher and applauded the efforts of Britney's team to diffuse the situation quickly. See footage from the shocking incident here.

Taylor Swift Takes The Stand In Trial Vs Former Denver DJ

(Radio.com) One of the most famous singers in America, Taylor Swift, took the witness stand Thursday in a civil trial in Denver federal court. Swift told the court she was certain former KYGO disc jockey David Mueller -- known as "Jackson" on air -- put his hand on her read end.

"It was a definite grab, a very long grab," she told the jury of six women and two men. "I do not want people to stick their hands up my skirt and grab my a- during my meet and greets."

Mueller is suing Swift, claiming he lost his job over false claims. Swift is countersuing, claiming she was a victim of assault and battery. "He latched onto my bare a- cheeks as I moved away from him visibly uncomfortably," she said.

Swift was called to the witness stand by the attorney for Mueller. Mueller's lawyer pressed Swift on why her body guard did not intervene, asking "It's odd why (the bodyguard) let this 'big drunk' guy put his hand under your skirt, latch on, and get away?" Swift replied the bodyguard was not in a position to see exactly what happened. Read more here.

Pink Releases New Single 'What About Us'

(Radio.com) Pink has released her highly anticipated new single "What About Us." The track is the lead single from the singer's new album Beautiful Trauma, which will be released on October 13.

It begins with delicate piano and gradually builds into a dramatic chorus. As the title suggests, the song addresses a relationship gone bad. "What about us?/ What about all the times you said you had the answers?/ What about us?/ What about all the broken happy ever afters?" Pink sings.

Fans have been waiting patiently for new music from Alecia Beth Moore. The singer's last studio album The Truth About Love dropped back in 2012. Not that she's been totally quiet. P!nk popped up on the Alice Through the Looking Glass soundtrack in 2016 with "Just Like Fire," and dueted with Kenny Chesney on "Setting the World on Fire," that same year. She also lent vocals to Stargate's 2017 track "Waterfall," which also featured Sia.

"I'm certifiably, insanely proud of this album," P!nk wrote. "It's been a while, and I'm grateful for all the years we've had. Looking forward to the next chapter with you." Check out the song here.

Brett Eldredge Performs 'The Long Way' On 'The Tonight Show'

(Radio.com) Brett Eldredge's self-titled fourth studio album could very well top the Billboard 200 chart this week, bolstered by the success of singles like "Somethin' I'm Good At."

The country singer-songwriter appeared on The Tonight Show to perform "The Long Way" from his new record, giving fans a taste of more new music. Eldredge explained the song's meaning and background in an interview earlier this week.

'It's about getting to know somebody more than just on the surface, getting to know somebody deep down to their core," he told The Boot. "It's more than just taking the long way around their town, it's through their imagination. It's them telling you everything about where they came from. You want to know every single detail -- where they wrecked their bike the first time, where their parents fell in love, the lot where the car they drove in high school is sitting. I think this song says don't be afraid to have that conversation, don't be afraid to get to know that person." Watch Brett's appearance on The Tonight Show here.

Vic Mensa Opens Up About Mental Health Issues

(Radio.com) Vic Mensa released his solo debut album The Autobiography on July 28. The title is appropriate as the songs address mental illness and other deeply personal issues.

In a new interview, Mensa reveals why he decided to take such a confessional route with the new material and addressed his efforts to break the stigma about depression in the hip-hop community. He also discusses JAY-Z, and the role Hova played in shaping the new material.

"First and foremost, writing about my struggles with mental health and drug dependence is confessional and healing for me," he told Complex. "…I think that being from a community, in which mental health issues are so stigmatized that it's important to open up channels to that conversation. Because everybody heard it and dealing with things in their own way. A lot of it is self-medication. I feel like that's just the top layer of this pain. The community is very open in rap and music about the drugs that are very much apart of the lifestyle, but not so much open about what's underneath drug use."

Throughout the recording process, Mensa says JAY-Z was an "essential" advisor. Read about that here.
