Lil Wayne Surprises Fans With Four New Tracks

(Radio.com) Lil Wayne surprised his fan base on Wednesday (July 5) by releasing four new tracks. He revealed the release of the new songs on social media, alluding to the delayed Tha Carter V and his ongoing legal troubles with Cash Money Records.

"I'm still trying to fight for my Independence, but today I'm saying f*** it and giving all my fans some new music!" Lil Wayne wrote. "Thanks for being there and patiently waiting while I endure this fight #youngmoney #freeC5."

Among the new tracks includes a freestyle over Playboi Carti's single "Magnolia" and a collaboration with Jeezy on the Mike WiLL Made-It-produced "Fireworks." Two other songs include "Loyalty," which features Gudda Gudda and HoodyBaby, and "Mula Gang" with Jay Jones, HoodyBaby and Euro.

It is unclear if these songs will appear on the yet-unreleased album or on the rapper's Dedication 6 mixtape with DJ Drama. Check out the new tracks here.

Coldplay Stream New Brian Eno Penned Song 'ALIENS'

(Radio.com) Coldplay released a new song entitled "ALIENS'. The track, which will be featured on the band's forthcoming EP Kaleidoscope, was written by Brian Eno.

Fans will find his signature sounds immediately shining through. Production on the song was handled by Eno with assistance from Marckus Dravs, most recently known for his work with Arcade Fire, Mumford & Sons and Kings Of Leon.

A sister release to the band's 2015 album A Head Full of Dreams, the 5-song Kaleidoscope EP will be available to stream July 14 with physical copies on CD and vinyl touching down for a landing on August 4th. Watch the animated lyric video here.

Beastie Boys' 'Sabotage' Video Gets Sesame Street Makeover

(Radio.com) The Beastie Boys released their iconic Spike Jonze's directed music video for their rap-rock track "Sabotage" in 1994. The original video was an action-packed spoof of 1970s crime dramas.

On Wednesday (July 5), a fan recreated the video with existing footage of Sesame Street Muppet characters. In the new video, Big Bird and the other Muppets appear in a dramatic chase scene where they are on the run from the police.

"The original 'Sabotage' music video is without a doubt, one of the greatest of all time," the video's editor Adam Schleichkorn said in an online statement. "So I knew I couldn't do a regular old lip sync video, I had to bring it! RIP MCA." Watch the fan-created and original video here.

Selena Gomez Gives Fans Clues About New Single 'Fetish'

(Radio.com) Selena Gomez is serious about releasing new music. The popstar took to social media on Thursday (July 6) to tease an upcoming single "Fetish" which may or may not feature Gucci Mane

Gomez hinted at the single with a photo of herself sitting alone in a yellow dress in the middle of a suburban street. She originally suggested new music would be coming at the end of her "Bad Liar" music video, which announced "Fetish" was "coming soon."
Some fans believe Gucci Mane will be featured on the track, as the track's Genius page credits a collaboration with the rapper. As of now, Gomez has not listed a release date for the track. Check out the posts and watch the "Bad Liar" music video for clues

Ariana Grande Honors Youngest Victim of Manchester Arena Bombing

(Radio.com) Ariana Grande continues to pay homage to the victims of the tragic terrorist attack outside her concert in Manchester, England on May 22. On Wednesday (July 5), the pop star posted a message on social media to Saffie Roussos from Leyland, Lancashire, the youngest of 22 people killed at the event.

"Saffie, we're [thinking] of you baby," tweeted Grande, with a birthday cake emoji to complete the message. Roussos would have been celebrating her ninth birthday,

Hundreds of people gathered in Roussos' hometown and released helium balloons in memory of the young girl. It was "the party she deserved," family friend Tess Watson told BBC News.

The girl's father added that his daughter was "everything you could wish for in a little girl." Ashlee Bromwich, the victim's older sister spoke of Saffie's excitement as she watched Grande perform, "She was Ariana Grande-obsessed. She was so happy, she was elated all night, grinning," she said.

Kanye West Reportedly Leaves Jay Z's Tidal

(Radio.com) Kanye West is reportedly leaving Jay Z's Tidal streaming service for good. According to a new report in Billboard, Kanye's exclusive rights have been terminated due to Tidal's alleged failure to honor its financial obligations.

According to an unnamed source, Kanye West allegedly claims that the subscription service owes him "more than $3 million" from the release of his hit record "The Life of Pablo."

West alleges the album "resulted in 1.5 million new subscribers to Tidal, for which he was supposed to get a bonus but the company hasn't paid." West is one of Tidal's initial 16 artist-owners. Read more here.

Run The Jewels Release 'Don't Get Captured' Claymation Video

(Radio.com) Run The Jewels' Killer Mike and El-P are the subjects of stop-motion animation in the new video for "Don't Get Captured," the latest single from RTJ3.

Produced by Chris Hopewell, known for his recent work on Radiohead's "Burn The Witch," the new video finds the duo as claymation models in a modern-day house of horrors where they witness corporate greed and police violence acted out by a crew of skeletons.

This release arrives on the back of Run the Jewels' starring role on the recent Danger Mouse single & video for "Chase Me" (also featuring Outkast's Big Boi), from the motion picture Baby Driver, which debuted as the #1 film in America last week. Killer Mike makes a cameo appearance in the film as well, and the music video can be seen here.

Tyler, the Creator's Instagram Account Hacked

(Radio.com) Tyler, the Creator's Instagram account was hacked on Wednesday night (July 5). One of the images that was posted featured a man holding a gun and wearing a belt on his forehead.

In addition, several posts directed users to follow social media accounts Tyler has nothing to do with.When he found out about the hack, Tyler confirmed the news on Twitter.

"Lowkey insta got hacked, idk whats next so yeah," he wrote, seemingly unperturbed by the intrusion. At the same time, he admitted he wasn't sure what to do.'Deadass dont know how to get back in there and dont care as much as i wouldve like a while back so yeah it'll figure itself out." Katy Perry Lets Fans Audition for 'Swish Swish' Video

(Radio.com) Katy Perry has teamed up with DanceOn to find dancers for the music video for her latest single "Swish Swish". Interested dancers should post a video of their best choreographed moves to the Witness single "Swish Swish" on YouTube, Instagram or Musical.ly, using the tags #SwishSwishChallenge and @DanceOn @KatyPerry.

Perry will accept submissions until July 12 at 11:59 p.m. U.S. residents aged 13 and over are invited to apply. The official "Swish Swish" video is scheduled to shoot before the end of the month.

This isn't the first time Perry has used the internet to recruit fresh talent. The artist discovered 15-year-old Russell "The Backpack Kid" Horning online earlier this year and invited him to dance with her during her performance of "Swish Swish" on Saturday Night Live.

Perry revealed the details about the video contest through social media and said she would pick her favorite dancer for a part in the video. Watch Perry's contest announcement here.

Beyonce's Father Reveals Twins Run In The Knowles Family

(Radio.com) Earlier this week, Matthew Knowles (Beyonce's father and former manager) shared an Instagram video explaining that twins run in his family. As the world awaits the reveal of Beyonce and JAY-Z's newborn twins, a bit of genealogy is food for thought: Matthew says he's working on a new book and discovered the family tendency through research.

"In the research that was done for [my new] book, I was able to learn about my heritage, my family, and going back to my great, great grandmother," he says. "I was also learning that my grandmother, Hester, actually had brothers that were twins, Sidney Moore and Gitney Moore!"

"You can see that the twins started in our ancestry, and Beyonce should be proud of that," he added. Matthew announced the Carter twins' arrival on June 18, writing "Happy Birthday to the twins! Love, Granddad." Read more here.
