in the backstreet boys, all those "loud guitars" are called riffs. they
are often complex and filled with technical guitar solos. that fact that
you can not see that the BSB are a pathetic corperate tool is sad. your
ignorance is helping money grubbing weasles like lou pearlman get rich.
these bands are engineered for money, they are simply 5 guys with medial
singing ability thrown together to sing some songs that were prewritten
for them. there is no expression in the backstreet boys, because they dont
create music. they are media puppets who sing some silly love ballads,
but because they are "so hot" they sell millions. do you honestly think
the BSB would be anywhere today if they werent "so hot".an artist is trying
to express something in there music, this is immposible for BSB cause they
dont write it. and then they con you idiots into believing they wrote it
because they added an extra "ooooh" or "ahhhh" to the music so they could
get a songwriting credit. the fact that anyone can be so clueless as to
say BSB has more talent that rock bands sickens me. BSB and Nsync are part
of the current teen pop fad. they will be gone like yesterdays news as
soon as the fad has run its course. dont believe me? remember New kids
on the block? where are they now? my point exactly. now i suggest you get
a fukking clue before you try to talk about music, cause frankly. you dont
know sh*it.

fan, and PROUD OF IT! To all those people calling us "teenyboppers," go
jump in a lake, we have the right to like our own music, respect people
who work hard like BSB, and be ourselves (without being criticized for
it)! Rock music is a bunch of ear-splitting guys banging drums way to loud,
screeching on guitars, and screaming into microphones! Is THAT music?!
God, I think NOT! Talk about no talent! At least the Backstreet Boys sing
it, not SCREAM it!

about the Backstreet Boys?! A little 411 is that they do play some of their
own instruments! (Nick played the drums and Kevin the piano in "Back to
your Heart). And they do write some of their own music. They work hard
and I like them for both their personalities AND their music! They work
harder then most people, and I give them a ton of credit! They are the
best, their music has meaning and messages. You want to diss someone, go
criticize N*SYNC! If anyone is cheesy, it's THEM!

mean, they can't dance worth $hit, and even with enhancement from computers,

NOT a Backstreet Boy fan! It's too bad that many girls my age can't open
their eyes and see what they really are! I've always been the girl that
raids my parents CDs, looking for Aerosmith, The Doors, and "real music"!I'm
a Creed fan and proud of it, despite the fact that many of my friends hate
my kind of music. I wish that more teens today would consider listening

These guys are entertainers, not musicians
and the American public wants entertainment. From music to video games
to movies, as long as people can exploit this it won't go away. In 50 years,
will we remember the pop acts of today? No, who remembers the pseudomusic
