If you have been waiting for the definitive
Billy Idol Greatest Hits package, you are in luck this disc has them all
plus a few nice bonuses for those who liked the singles but never bothered
to buy the full-length albums. You get Rebel Yell, Dancing with Myself,
Eyes Without a Face, Catch My Fall, White Wedding and Cradle of Love. Sadly,
one of the best tracks from the Rebel Yell album, “Blue Highway”, is missing.
Then again, it wasn’t a major hit like the other tracks featured from that
disc. Also included: Billy’s cover of The Doors “L.A. Women” and a great
remake of the Simple Minds hit “Don’t You (forget about me).”
This is a worthy addition to any CD library
but if you like Billy’s music you might be better off buying the full length
CD’s as his best music wasn’t always his hits.
