Electronic lives up to their name with
some classic alternative styling in the vein of Depeche Mode with a heavy
emphasis on the electronic sound. Solid vocals carry the day here, making
this CD a pleasure for even those who normally would not listen to electronic
music. Classic instruments like guitar and harmonica are also utilized
on the album to great effect. "Twisted Tenderness" contains some well-written
songs with catchy rhythms and melodies. Although you do not hear music
like this very often these days, Electronic may just resurrect the genre
and make it a viable style of music for the 21st century.
