"Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band" is definitely a worthy subtitle for this page-turning
Bestseller. Featuring chapters written by each founding member of Motley Crue, their managers, and even John Corabi (ex-replacement vocalist), this book really is a brutally honest, no-holds-barred view into their 20 years of sex, drugs, & rock n' roll. Nothing is spared, from Vince Neil's drunken manslaughter and his daughter's death from cancer, Tommy Lee's jail term and Pamela Anderson sex tape, Nikki Sixx's heroin addiction and troubled childhood... heck I'm hardly scratching the surface of this 400 page read. Parts will make you laugh, some of it will just make you downright sick, and parts are touching enough for you to feel genuine sorrow for the band. Did Ozzy Osbourne really do that? What on earth were they thinking when they recorded 'Generation Swine?' All of this and tons more are answered. "The Dirt" also features many photos of the band throughout their career. You don't have to be a fan to enjoy this book.
