What would happen if you mixed Nine Inch Nails with Vast and the Smashing Pumpkins? You’d get Elseworth Dragon. These Orange County rockers come forth to show that there is more to the Orange County scene then the alt-punk and ska of the Offspring and No Doubt.  Experimental alt-rock has some new contenders for the gold as Elseworth Dragon’s 8 song EP bring a new vibrancy to the genre that challenges the over saturated “mallcore” scene for fans attention.  These guys aren’t just another group content with copying the “in-thing” in order to make it, they instead set out to create their own sound by mixing the style of two of the most notable bands of the past decade, Nine Inch Nails and The Smashing Pumpkins. The nice thing is, you don’t have to like those two bands to find something to like about Elseworth Dragon.

Everyday another catchy riff is made up in the mind of some pop punk loving 15 year old who then savors his creation for 10 years until he has a KROQ worthy one hit wonder fully created. For two weeks we enjoy these songs destined for radio brilliance. Eight months later, it dies away. Plastic Superhero by Elseworth Dragon was a creation from the mind of a once 15 year old genius set on defying the KROQ trend, challenging you to think along the way. Five years later, the music of Elseworth Dragon, now fully completed is waiting for you to give it a try, and if you look deep enough inside yourself you'll find the intent to really listen, to feel, and to enjoy music made for itself, and not for the RADIO. Along the way you'll discover maturity, a band far older and wiser than their age. The Plastic Superhero EP defines what a truly honest good rock band should sound like. Forget the labels and descriptions. Make your own. That's what they did.
