The opening bars of this CD let you know
you’re in for something a little different; with it’s Smashing Pumpkins
style guitar riffs. The high-pitched wail of Billy Corgan that you’d expect
is instead replaced with the soulful modern rock vocals of Thomas Flowers.
Grunge isn’t dead; it has just evolved.
That is not to say that this CD wouldn’t have been a smash hit in 1992,
it most certainly could have been. In 2001 it’s a refreshing reminder of
just how good guitar driven rock can be. With tracks like “Yours If You
Like”, “Halo”, “Benign” and “Unwind”—Oleander gives today’s rap-rockers
and pop stars a run for their money with exceptionally crafted songs, arousing
melodies and enough riffs to keep guitar junkies happy.

oleander has evolved to have a sound diversity equal to that of björk and a perfect circle's first album.
i love them.

the only GOOD thing about oleander is the new drummmer. that guy is f@#$ing awesome.

Moore: I think Oleander is one of the most overlooked
rock bands today. Their cds "Unwind" and "Feburary Son" are both great
additions to any true rock fan's collection.
