Seven Mary Three really comes into their
own with “Economy Of Sound”. They finally sever the STP umbilical chord
and deliver a rock solid post grunge album that really expands the band’s
horizons. “Sleepwalking” kick starts the album as a nice hard rockin’ number
that seg-ways into a more restrained “Wait” only to kick things up a notch
with “Faster”. With “Economy Of Sound” the band sounds closer to the alt-rock
of The Nixons then their grunge offerings of the past. This CD is
definitely worth a listen and may just reintroduce Seven Mary Three to
the rock world.
