As soon as you put this CD in your CD player the earth will shake and the dishes will break.  The Misfits latest release and the last one for Roadrunner Records is such a blistering collection of studio outtakes, demos, and unreleased material that the paint will be peeling off the walls when the first notes rip through your speakers.  This CD marks the end of an era of recordings featuring vocalist Michale Graves and drummer Dr. Chud spanning from 1996-2001.

15 of the 17 tracks featured on this disc with the exception of track #9-“I wanna be a NY Ranger” which features John Cafiero on vocals, and track #17-“Rise Above” featuring Dez Cadena on vocals, feature Graves and Dr. Chud who both left the band in October, 2000.  Graves has got to be one of the most underrated singers in music.  I think he did a great job filling in some pretty big shoes in his time with The Misfits.  This CD also marks the end of an era with a record company the band was never too happy with.

A couple of my favorites on this CD are The Misfits cover of the Iggy Pop song “I Got A Right”, and “Helena 2”, which shares the same guitar riff as the COC song “Clean My Wounds” while humoring the listener with the songs lyrics “If I cut off your arms and I cut off your legs would you love me anyway”.  Yessiree Bob!  More harmless, kid friendly stuff from the New Jersey Horrorcore Kings.

I LOVE THE MISFITS! I THINK GRAVES HAS A GREAT VOICE. HE REALLY PUT THE MISFITS UP A KNOTCH BUT WHEN HE LEFT JERRY ONLY BECAME THE MAN AND HE STILL IS TODAY. PROJECT 1950 IS A GREAT MISFITS ALBUM. WITH MARKY RAMONE AND DEZ CADENA, JERRY ONLY HAS ASSURED US ALL THAT THE MISFITS WILLIVE! O_o

Posted by psycho78:
Hey man Graves's voice made the Misfits! I admit Danzig rock but Graves just had that extra energy.

Posted by The Fiend:
ALL I KNOW IS THAT MICHEAL GRAVES'S VOICE SUX BALLS I THINK THE MISFITS JUST SHOULD HAVE KEPT GLENN DANZIG BUT HEY SCRAP HAPPENS

Posted by Jerry:
You have to love that Jerry and Doyle put the demos and rarities on a disc, which are by far hard to come by... The cd proves that even in raw demo form, the Misfits rock hard, and heavy! 25 years with Jerry and Doyle! Michale's vocals are awesome as always!

I got no clue what you guys be flowin, but fools, there is the word "Dork" wayyy too many times. I frankly don't understand. Cher was a guest waaayyy too many times on this album. That "God Hates Us All Song" was too depressing for me. Peace up.

I can't say as I like their new beats. They sold out soooo bad. I mean that "Slave 4 U" song is terrible. That's not the Nirvana I grew to love. My NBA socks are starting to itch. I have lumps on my dork. To bad I quit Nirvana.
