The highly anticipated debut from Jack
Blacks band Tenacious D lives up to the hype. Jacks humor shines through
with an album dripping with sexual innuendo and outright vocal porn. Casting
the lyrics aside, the music features some great hard rock as well as funky
numbers. Vocally Jack Black may be the 21st centurys answer to Meat Loaf.
The band should have made the entire CD cover a parental advisory notice
but aside from that its great fun for the entire dysfunctional family.

These guys are different thats for sure... I wouldn't say that they're any good. Jack Black would be good in a heavy metal band maybe .. but thats about it.The video and lyrics pretty much suck.Yup

Even if these guys are like Weezer in the way that they make silly music, they are actually talented. I can hear classical guiatars in their songs and they are playing well.

I love Tenacious D and also consider myself to be one of the biggest TOOL fans, as well. I never knew Maynard liked them, which only enhances my respect for him and the D.

I don't know what Maynard is smoking.While not a Tool fan myself,I thought Maynard would at least have better musical tastes.These guys are horrible.I understand they're opening for Weezer which really upsets me.I'm planning on going to Cleveland to watch Weezer but if these guys are opening I may have to reconsider.
