What do you get when you put ex-Jayhawks's
Mark Olson, singer-songwriter & Olson's wife, Victoria Williams, and
Mike"Razz" Russell together for an album? The Creek Dippers. A group
of friends who originally came together to assist Williams on her album
"The Musings of a Creek Dipper," found that writing and making an album
all their own was just a few steps away. The only way to describe this
album is a lazy summer day. The tracks inclusive on this album are harmony
heavy, acoustic driven songs that have the ability to take the listener
away from the chaos of life. A truly relaxing album in every aspect, it
almost seems as though it was recorded in someone's backyard on summer's
afternoon. For those who enjoy country, bluegrass and a bit of folk, "Pacific
Coast Rambler" will be a well worth listen.
