Posted by Nsync sucks!:
hey nsync blink, go kill yourself!! first off nsuck doesnt even make their own music and cobain did. take that nsuck cd and shove it up your @SS!

Posted by Mercury:
Keep posting your thoughts here, nsuck blink.....you're revealing to the world your stupidity and total ignorance of musical history. They DO say ignorance is bliss, so you must be flying high on happiness, dude.

Posted by nsync blink:
I meant "becomes a big pop cultural phenomenon." They were sort of big before that, it's just that it wasn't a phenomenon before that. Had that not happened, Nirvana would have been forgotten faster than Pearl Jam. At least N'Sync was able to deliver 2 consecutive successful albums and is about to do a third one.

Posted by nsync blink:
At least they can sing and dance, and they get talented people to write and play their music. They are not just some lame ass band that blows and can't write or play its instruments well, but becomes a big just cos their lead singer, or maybe his psycho wife, blows his brains out and the industry uses that as an excuse to martyr him and sell more records.

Posted by The guy that knows his SH!T:
nsync blink-who the f*ck do u think u r? n'sync's just another manufactured "fudge pack" band that is too busy with strap-ons in each other's asses to get up, play some instruments, and make some real music, so f*ck off!

Posted by iamsocool:
Ridha, youre lucky im lazy, or i would send you a song i worte thats a hundred times better than Jump

Posted by S.A.:
This is to Joe. I dont know who you think you are dissing Kris Kross! I tell you what.. I want to see you in the music buisness and if you make it, I'll give "yo" momma five dollars and If you don't, you suck me off for five dollars. If you don't like it, don't listen to it. "Vos Putha!"

Posted by me:
Yeah. Cheese my ass. Who cares as long as the music kicks ass? IT'S ALL GOOD!

Posted by nsync blink:
you nirvana lovers have no taste for music; you depressing losers should all kill yourselves like chairman kurt. at least n'sync's music is fun and has melody.

Posted by Mercury:
I think we got us a coupla rubes here. N'SUCK are the cheese-meisters!

Posted by nsync blink:
n'sync is da bomb f'ers. nirvana is gay and they suck

Posted by Mercury:
well, it certainly smells like something in here, whether it's teen spirit or the reek of ignorance, I do not know. Have a nice day, bye-bye!

Posted by alternafreak:
nirvana's smells like teen spirit

Posted by alternafreak:
nirvana's smells like teen spirit

Posted by BUTCH:
BORING!!!!

Posted by joe again:
speaking about kris kros, there is a new kris kros rip-off. lil bow wow and lil romeo.....i wonder where these 2 will be in 10 years....can you say county....lol...lol

Posted by joe:
talentless non-musician bastards who sang "jump".........you must be talking about kris kros

Posted by Mercury:
Ridah, you're killin' me LOL!!!! Take heed folks! If you can come up with a better song and make more money than they did with that one....well then, you heard the man...send him a demo, damnit!

Posted by RidahNY:
The day that any of you talentless non-musician bastards write a song like "Jump" be sure to email me at Troublesome97@hotmail.com and send me a demo because i really wanna hear it.

Posted by Tracey:
After I entered my original, I read everyone else's entries, I guess i would just like to say -Being a fan of the 80's hard rock scene I take a lot of grief for it AND I DON'T CARE, nobody's opinion is gonna chang what I put in my CD player, and music is for EVERYBODY-that is why there is so many differen forms of it, just cause the dude from green day annoys the hell out me, I suppose Skid Row or Courtney love makes others cringe, I happen to think that music is anythin we want it to be, but most of all we all listen for one reason-to feel good, so I won't knock anyones means of finding happiness in this sick world- So, Enjoy whether it be Britney or Motorhead or Zamphir-ROCK ON MAN!!

Posted by Tracey:
Like a Virgin Any Pearl Jam or Green Day Song Bye Bye Bye Oops I did it again

Posted by SubXavier:
Neither, Mercury and Rett... it's "I Know What Boys Like."

Posted by Eagles:
I just want to add to the Van Halen thing. I actually like Van Halen, but I hate Jump for the reasons stated by iamsocool, and plus I also thought the melody for it was gay sounding. But Van Halen's version of You Really Got Me is ALOT better than the Kinks version. I also want to say million dollar endorsement deals don't make you any less cheesy, they just make you a tool, like Kobe Bryant or Shaq. They are still cheesy, gay, and talentless as ever, yet they have like ten commercials between them. And everyone in Hollywood kisses the Lakers @$$e$ too. They are going down man.

Posted by Mercury:
I know.....Randy Newman's "I Love L.A.". Oh my God....I HATE THAT FLIPPIN' SONG!!!

Posted by Mercury:
Ahhhh......isn't that "I Know What GUYS Want"?

Posted by Rett:
'I Know What Girls Want' by the Waitresses. I love Cherry Pie by Warrant. ;)

Posted by SubXavier:
Had this in my head all today... Ronnie James Dio, "Rainbow in the Dark."

Posted by gahangoddess:
3 cheesy songs are nelson-after the rain trixter-surrender spice girls-wannabe

Posted by beardofevil:
Neil Diamond, And Tom Jones... 'nuff feckin' said.

Posted by Meg:
John Giles "angel is a centerfold" that song is so "cheesy" but its funny!

Posted by iamsocool:
I know that this is a 'cheesiest' board, but i cant help myself when people are ignorent about music. ironically, vh's biggest song, jump, was one of thier easiest. the lyrics had no meaning and the keyboarder did more work than the guitarists. Nirvana and Pearl Jam will forever go down in history. The Doors are still recognized today. What do you call that huge celebration theyre having for the 6 months that morrison, hendrix and japlin died? nothing?

Posted by Gin:
Lets get back on track here! I think "Barbie Girl" by Aqua is a "cheesy" song!

Posted by Joe:
I have to join Coo on this one, this is a 'cheesiest song page', not a fricken 'I'm right and you're wrong' page. Ridah and Mercury need to chill the hell out. You guys are really childish and I think most people have kinda stopped reading your lengthy, snooze-worthy comments. And yes I too feel that VH are cheesy once you get past the age of 18. A lot of people do, so just get over it.

Posted by Coo:
Look Ridah, all I did was name a cheesy song, just like everyone else, and you are going nuts. Can't you give it a rest now. Or do I have to put on my dissing gloves? So far I've been quite restrained considering your personal abuse. I'm just glad that a few people are agreeing with me.

Posted by SubXavier:
From Queen and Bowie to Van Halen? ...Man, what a slide...

Posted by RidahNY:
People talk about Nirvana and Pearl Jam like they're some rock Messiahs or something and it's really funny. Van Halen is the same thing to the 80's as those two sh*tty bands are to the 90's. They're all bands that get associated with decades. I personally think Pearl Jam will fade away and no one will care about them 20 years from now sort of like a Uriah Heep or Grand Funk. Nirvana is nothing but a 3 chord version of the Doors basically (around for 3 years disappears and everyone forgets about them.) Almost 30 years after Van Halen was formed they are still one of the most talked about bands in the media. BTW, i'd love to see coo write a song like "Jump." That tune was a rock song that kept credibility but yet was a #1 single on the Billboard Charts. That's rarely done - if ever.

Posted by Mercury:
Fair enough, fair enough.I grew up listening to Queen, Alice Cooper and David Bowie (mainly) and nobody really liked any of those guys when I was kid ( they all said Van Halen kicked their asses, ironically), so you'd think I'd be used to it by now.....maybe I have been a jerk. I'm sorry for the insults and epithets.....enjoy your music....whatever you listen to.

Posted by Josh:
Mercury you make a good point saying that just because you say so, doesn't make it so, but remember that comment goes both ways and both of you are entitled to your opinions however different they might be....by the way, i gotta side with coo.

Posted by coo:
I didn't read any of that sh*t.

Posted by RidahNY:
Hey coo you're comparing apples to oranges and making no sense in the process. Let me ask you this... what do MICHAEL BOLTON, Kenny G, Britney Spears etc. have to do with rock music? I can't stand when someone is trying to make a "point" about sellouts or how some rock band sucks and then they start talking about Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. Whether that stupid pop music is good or bad, it has NOTHING to do with rock music - NOTHING, so why do you keep on bringing it up? I'm sorry but a band that has been in existence since 1974, tore up the LA club scene in the mid 70's, has sold 60 million records, has million dollar endorsement deals can't be too cheesy if they've experienced that much success. You're nothing but some punk kid who doesn't know sh*t about life on the computer talking about something you know nothing about.

Posted by Mercury:
You're the instigator here, coo. You come on here and blast VH like a prick-rock-critic and expect no one to take exception? Fine, if think VH sucks that's your own damn problem. Revel in your idiocy. Because you think so, doesn't make it so. You most certainly won't be missed at any concert I will be attending this summer. BTW RED7-I like Nirvana and Pearl Jam too, but I don't think they're flushing anybody down any toilet. Just two more alternatives, that's all.

Posted by Red7:
I'm with coo, Van Halen sucks a big fat goat dick. Nothing made me happier in life to watch Nirvana and Pearl Jam flush their cheezy ass butt rock down the toilet.

Posted by coo:
Just stick a sh*t guitar solo in it and you have yourself a van halen song.

Posted by Nick D:
american badass by kidrock is a retarded song. The video was a joke i mean who does this guy think he is. to me he is nothin more but a piece of skanky white trash if i have to hear that stupid piece of f**k on mtv again i would literally hurl.

Posted by coo:
People come here and name cheesy songs. And no-one gets pissy with them. No-one except you. You even resort to verbal abuse when you don't get your own way. You have a serious problem.

Posted by coo:
Jump by VanHalen is a damn cheesy song.

Posted by Mercury:
I don't think your heroes, The Backdoor Bitches, have sold 60 million records. Nor do I think Billy Ray Cyrus, NKOTB, Vanilla Ice, Eminem, Shania Twain, Britney Spears or Puffy Dick have either. When you can validtae your stupid claims come back, but until then stop posting your favorite band lists here....nobody cares, ass face.

Posted by RidahNY:
You don't sell 60 million records by accident fag boy.

Posted by coo:
The SAME way the Backstreet Boys, Phil Collins, Mariah Carey, Bon Jovi, Celine Dion, Britney Spears, Puff Daddy, Eminem, KENNY G, the Lighthouse Family, Vanilla Ice, Billy Ray Cyrus, Garth Brooks, New Kids On The Block, Genesis (with phil collins), MICHEAL BOLTON, Shania Twain and many, many other acts manage to do it. Because of people like you.

Posted by RidahNY:
To this very day, Van Halen's 6 albums with David Lee Roth have sold a combined 37.7 Million copies, their albums with Sammy Hagar have sold a combined 20.5 Million copies, and the "Greatest Hits Volume 1" has sold 2.4 Million albums which equals 60.6 Million records. Hmmmm, i wonder how a "cheesy" band sells over 60 Million records and ranks in the top 10 of Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Bands of All Time. Maybe this coo person can explain...

Posted by coo:
Yes it has happened, used a search engine to find the interview with pat smear. If you can stop crying for long enough. You prick.

Posted by SubXavier:
Groove is in the Heart... hehe...

Posted by i don't want a name:
don't forget unskinny bop, shiny happy people, that stupid oochie wally wally song, and groove is in the heart

Posted by mercury:
No....I don't think that ever happened. But it's true...you are a prick.

Posted by coo:
Yeah, because I think Van Halen is pure cheesy tripe, I must be a 14 year old teeny bopper, dream on loser... Remember when eddie turned up drunk at a nirvana concert and started crying and telling kurt cobain how no one listens to VHalen cos they suck and he wanted to play eruption? Hilarious, he also racially insulted pat smear. What a prick.

Posted by GREENMUSE:
i thought it was about time for ridah to come set the record straight.the truth will set you free,

Posted by Mercury:
Yeah, don't see any of their videos or show up at any of their shows because they're not for kids...or morons, so you stay away too "coo"...coo'? You might catch coo and ggu at the next Backdoor Boyz 2 Crap show. Or is N'Suck more up your alley?

Posted by coo:
Don't listen to him 14 year olds, Vanhalen is pure cheese, just see the video for jump. Actually, DON'T see the video for jump, or any VH video. Or hear any of their songs. TRIPE.

Posted by Mercury:
You tell 'em Ridah!! But as for REM....yeah, they're not "cheesy"....they're "sucky"....Stipe has got to be the worst singer since Tiny Tim....equally annoying too!

Posted by RidahNY:
It's alright if you don't like Van Halen but the word "cheese" doesn't pertain to everything that you might dislike or hate. If you hate Van Halen that doesn't automatically mean that they're "cheesy." When someone talks about a "cheesy" song they aren't necessarily talking about a bad song or a good song... "cheesy" normally refers to pretentious, over-dramatic, and often ridiculous music. I read an interview with Michael Stipe about 10 years ago where he said R.E.M. won't do love songs not because they're bad but because they're pretentious and "cheesy." Obvious rhymes, cliched lyrics, and forced meaning are the type of things that make a song "cheesy." I hate Limp Bizkit but i don't consider them to be "cheesy" because all of their songs are about beating someone up. I consider stuff like "Heaven's on Fire" by Kiss and "Seventeen" by Winger to be "cheesy" although they're both songs that i like. Again, Van Halen is not "cheesy" for all of you uninformed 14 year olds out there.

Posted by V-dog:
macarena?

Posted by coo:
That 'moto-psyco' song is unbelievably bad, epescially for megadeth. Those guys need to start taking drugs again. Otherwise they are gonna end up sounding like Van halen.

Posted by MillerLite:
here's cheesy. the real slim shady. that song f*cking sucks!

Posted by Mercury:
I don't think you're the minority here because you think VH rocks, Forest....they do rock! Big time! ggu and coo have their butts pushed up their butts so far they can't even see the light of day. Plus, I get the feeling that the twerps who post anti-VH tirades would tell you it was day at night just to disturb s**t. The only 'sad' thing here is the ignorant fools that think they're clever for blasting legendary bands and artists!

Posted by Murph:
If were talking really new songs, I'd say Megadeth's Moto Psycho is very cheesy and stupid. Don't get me wrong, I normally like Megadeth, but that song is just awful!

Posted by Forest Gump:
Cheesy as is Cheesy does. Coo you picked on Ridah's favorite band so don't be surprised he relatiates. I know I'm in the minority here but I think VH Rocks but I do have to say their cover of Dancin in the streets was a cover of a song that was cheesy in the first place. I loved Drop Dead Legs. I wouldn't call Gary C cheesy but he sure sucked in VH. You want real cheese? Kid Rock or Break Stuff from Limp Wristed, I know they are cheesy by definition but that song is not only cheesy it serves no good purpose whatso ever.

Posted by ggu:
It's like the cheese calling the cheese cheesy.

Posted by ggu:
Yeah I know, there are too many lame cheesy widdly-diddley c0ck-rock hairspray fans on this site with no clue whatsoever. THE naffest music ever, talk about the pot and the kettle...

Posted by coo:
Sad...very sad.

Posted by RidahNY:
No Van Halen song is cheesy except for maybe "Drop Dead Legs" from the 1984 album but then again the music and the riffage to that song are so good to the point where you say well what difference do the words make anyway? As far as songs that actually are cheesy, i gotta go with Creed's "Arms Wide Open." I swear the first time i heard that song on the radio i started laughing when i listened to the first set of verses... "tears stream down my face." - Gimme a break like Nel Carter.

Posted by Mercury:
The only reason Ray Davies (the dude from the Kinks) hates Van Halen's take on his "You Really Got Me", is because it is so much better than his original version! Jump?! Cheesy?! Big ol' WHATEVER! P.Dicky isn't even worth commenting on, other than to say...what a waste of human flesh!

Posted by MentionThisToMe:
barry manilow is the king of cheesy....

Posted by coo:
Jump by van halen. And their mutilation of 'you really got me going'. Even the dude from the kinks hates it.

Posted by Erika:
Any of Puff Daddy's music, I mean P. Diddy's music is way worse than any of those songs.

Posted by Mercury:
Anything by Celine Dion and Barbara $trei$sand would top my list!! Limp Wristed just sucks your dogs ass...I don't think 'cheesy' accurately describes them. God! Much as I like Rod Stewart...what about "Do ya' Think I'm Sexy"? That's re-writing the cheese book isn't it?

Posted by durty sanchez:
durty sanchez sez:"if i had a hammer" by peter paul, and mary is the all time cheesiest

Posted by Joe:
Nah, it is cheesy, but it is also (unintentionaly?) hilarious. I don't 'like' the song. It is stoopid, but it's a really funny pisser of a song.

Posted by GREENMUSE:
im probally gonna catch all hell for this,but... breakin the law by judas priest.nothing against the band, but that is a really cheesy mullet anthem.

Posted by joe:
all new music is cheesy, new artists dont write good music because they are too busy trying to look good

Posted by Joe:
'A$$ Wide Open' by Creed. I really hate those m****rF****rs.

Posted by Harvester of Sorrow:
Well dammit, I did forget the Macarena until you mentioned it.

Posted by skimmons:
even though I have to agree with you about cherry pie, it's a guilty pleasure of mine! As far as country music goes, I could name a ton of them, but I'll just add swingin by John Anderson! And who could ever forget (unfortunately) Marcarena!!

Posted by aG:
timbot is right!

Posted by timbot:
Yeah, if it was the stupidest, then the top five would consist soley of limp biscuit songs.

Posted by iamsocool:
this is cheesiest song, not stupidest

Posted by hannah:
Nookie by limp biskut, that song is the stupidest song, and i have found myself haveing it stuck in my head before. If i hear it again i will freak out!!

Posted by Joe:
Micheal 'a$$-face' Bolton, ALL his songs. And Creed are just Micheal Bolton with a 'designer rock' makeover. They reek of mighty big cheese.

Posted by Harvester of Sorrow:
Nookie, Big Pimpin, all pop songs, everything by Six Feet Under, and I Dissapear

Posted by iamsocool:
i never said baby got back was bad, i like that song. bu the whole conccept is kinda cheesy

Posted by Joe:
Baby got back and the thong song f*ckin rule. They aren't cheesy, they are hilarious. Girls, girls, girls by Motley Crud...now that's proper cheesy sh*t. Well all their songs are, as well as BonJovi and Poison.

Posted by SubXavier:
I'd say Cherry Pie is more corny than cheesy... how about that Elton John duet "Don't Go Breakin' My Heart?"

Posted by mike:
i think the cheesiest song is lady marrmalaid because it ahs no meaning un less your a frenchy (no offence to french people).

Posted by iamsocool:
never heard the song. but what about Baby got Back?

Posted by joe:
oops i farted again she bangs rollin jaded
