I'm sorry, Buckethead and Finck are not Slash and Izzy (or Gilby Clarke
even). And Axl's voice appeals to be finished (hell, my IMPRESSION of Axl
on "Welcome to the Jungle" sounds better than he did on MTV). I realize
he has the legal rights, but him calling his current pile of crap "Guns
N' Roses" is just wrong.

seems as though there are alot of Axl haters out there-They must've forgotten
what it was like back in the early 80's when Axl and GUNS changed rock
music as we once knew it.He DOMINATED the rock music scene with his powerfull
lyrics and hypnotic voice.Before GUNS came to the scene we were stuck listening
to the pretty boy rock bands like bon jovi.then there were GUNS showing
us what true rock was.Axl always managed to come out on top and he will

show up for his concerts does NOT have anything to do with his level of

up, he was my idol. I wanted to be him when I "grew up". It seems like
everyone around me back in the early 90's got to the point where they hated
GNR. Of course, I defended them, Axl in particular. I am not sure when

every single person in your life walks out and leaves you hanging. I cannot
imagine actually spending hard earned money to go see my former idol in
concert like I did in Las Cruses (opps, not a good speller), New Mexico
in 1992 or 93. The show was my fantasy show, featuring my favorite band
in the world with another really good band (Metallica). It seems like Axl's
behaviour has branded him an imortal jerkoff. No, not even imortal. When
is the last time you saw Axl on MTV news? You haven't, except perhaps to
see a clip of this new "Guns N Roses". Which I haven't even seen. No, Axl
is gone. Guns N Roses Appetite for Destruction will always be one of my
favorite albums of all time, but who really wants to see a former millionaire
(we all are led to believe) humbled enough to try to make a "comeback"
without the talent? I haven't even thought about spending money on the
new album. For crying out loud, I could form Gun's N Roses if I could hook
up with one of the old uncredited background singers from the Illusion
tour. Why not, I probably have as much musical ability and people skills
as Mr. Rose. (Well, perhaps not the musical ability, but certainly even
Oscar the Grouch can get along with people better than Axl. Which is why
I have to say- Hang it up, Axl. You are worse off than a musical group
with no history, contract , or even a band name. At least those unknowns
don't have the negative strike of being Axl Rose. They still have a chance
in the spotlight, unlike you.

enough to catch a show before the tour was cancelled, and I must say this
band truely rocks! Call them what you want, but this is a band that is
awesome live, the kick in the butt that rock and roll has needed for some
time now! The new wave of rock and roll is really quite pathetic (exThe
Strokes, Hives, White Stripes,)GnR is a very welcome breath of fresh rock
