get missy on that drum kit!!! i wanna laugh

Posted by babylon:
aG hit the bullseye. i wouldnt argue with any of these. i saw a headline in rolling stone stating "missy elliot: saving hip-hop" HA!! my ass. im not much of a hip hop fan but i know what might be even remotely talented and that album is merely a drum machine-gibberish wonderland. pure crap.

Lamest post of the year goes to.................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................DEADSUN!!

Posted by dudeman:
I think that kelly osbourne does have a voice! I saw her in concert and she sounded really well!! I just can't see why you have to ridicule her as you did. She rox, i don't care how lame you are! For all i know you could be nobody important, so i will leave it alone! f*ck off!!!!

Posted by Madison:
I think kelly is cool and YES she can sing! IDIOTS they had her singing on the osbourne show MORONS.

Posted by the duck charkie:
i think all those cd's suck, but kelly's sucked ass!!!! can't believe the godfather of heavymetal has a punk pop daughter. I liked that avril to punk, poison to metal thing, it was true!!! peace

Posted by what do you care??:
Can i add one more lame album to this list?? Mariah's Charmbracelet. Not only is it super lame, but she butchers a Def Leppard classic!!! Death to the b-i-t-c-h!!!

Posted by wlg:
5. Well, the fact that you admit to liking Linkin park kills your credibility right there. 4. You want Missy Elliot on the drums? I understand that you're a rock fan, but rock is rock and hip hop is hip hop. Just because an artist doesn't follow the rock formula, it doesn't mean that its bad. 3. Lighten up, Avril Lavigne is just a joke. I would get the biggest kick out of being Avril Lavigne. She's generated more controversy than manson 5 years ago, and I bet that behind the scenes she's laughing her ass of at the people who take her seriously - her fans and her haters alike. 2. Well, I don't disagree here. 1. And somehow Linkin Park is more talented than Kelly Osbourne..?

I think that every C.D but one on this list was lame. I disagree with you about Missy's C.D. It wasn't so bad.

Rock will rise again and all you hip hopers will die. To my glory. Rock is alive

i think who ever wrote these are stupid and need to get a life. we arent in the 50's anymore bud.

Posted by Jim:
You think "Let Go" by Avril Lavigne is the thrid lamest CD released in 2002? You are wrong. "Let Go" is without a doubt the worst album of 2002, the worst one I have ever heard, and may very well be one of the worst albums ever recorded.

Posted by Avril Sucks:
You think "Let Go" by Avril Lavigne is the third lamest CD to come out in 2002? If you ask me, "Let Go" is without a doubt the worst one I have ever heard, and may very well be one of the worst albums ever recorded.

Posted by Eagles:
Look Avril doesn't belong on this list. I think her image is ridiculous as well and makes it hard for intelligent people to take her seriously. But of all the poser pop acts out there right now, honestly I think she has the most talent by far. She has a good voice and her band is pretty good because he music behind her songs is decent and somewhat catchy. I understand why punks hate her because she is disgracing their reputation but she does have talent.

Posted by Zambonie:
the cds on your list are a wasteof money, i'm sorry to anyone who bought them.

Posted by GREENMUSE:
this flat earth theory sounds fantastic, much more plausable than that blasted "round earth theory",probally some scheme cooked up by the illumanti to swindle us all.(sorry i watched some show about a kook, who belived the words elite are shape shifting lizards)

Posted by The Rotting Corpse of Lawrence Welk:
For the most part, this is a great list but there is at least one glaring omission. How could you possibly forget Shaman by Santana? It was really good the first time I heard it...four years ago when it was called Supernatural. Is Carlos really so incredibly insecure that he now has to constantly enlist an all-star cast of characters to help him carry an album? That's very sad indeed when you consider what a potent musical force he was back in the late sixties and early seventies.

Posted by GREENMUSE:
hmm a flat earth..it does make sense

Posted by krazy1:
i had bought the Breaking Point cd a few months ago and let me tell you this cd is so fu#cking cool. The song One Of A Kind kicks ass!! Coming Of Age is also great! The band Skinlab is also great the song Slay the Way is cool!!static-x is also my favorite band the Song Loser is so cool!I think that underground bands are way the hell cooler than bands with contracts and stuff.I belive that people who listen to the backstreet boys should just die right then and there!! they dont even write their own songs!!Bands like Breaking Point, Static-X, Skinlab, Medication work hard writting their own songs and that is so cool!!

Posted by krazy1:
breaking point is the coolest band and i think that american idol is so fking gay.I think that kelly clarkson should just give up her little singing career and should just stop to sing that stupid song a moment like this that song is so damn long boring stupid and who ever likes her music should just be socked in the head for being so damn stupid!

i think avril needs to shut up. I also think that kelly ozbourne should shut the hell up!!!

Posted by Malcolm:
Avril Lavigne stinks! Her music is just awful! She can't sing a note. Her awkward, cowritten lyrics are bullsh|t. Every song has an annoying, catchy hook that will stay in your head for days, especially if you don't like it. Her one album has more generic riffs and flat beats than most untalented musicians could put out in a lifetime. She says she plays guitar, but she sucks so bad at it, someone else plays it for her on all but one song on her album. Lavigne is a terrible, terrible singer who would have never made it to the top if the record company did not put her there. She is nothing but manufactured pop trash and living proof that you don't need talent to succeed.

Posted by Mr. GOD:
HEY MAN!, Your a Jealous, Hating, Hack! But, I agree with your picks.(I like to use the term HATER.)

Posted by asdfghjkl;':
they is teh secks.

Posted by Avril Hater:
This list is right, especially the part about Avril Lavigne. She is the worst singer ever and redefines the word "lame". Her awkward, cowritten lyrics are bullsh*t. The generic riffs and flat beats are awful. Her voice is digitally modified, but still sounds grating and annoying. Worst of all, the record company gave her a manufactured, "skaterchick" gimmick to fool the teenyboppers into liking her. She is a corporate puppet completely devoid of talent. Avril sucks!

Posted by Lizoud!:
5) - hell yes!! 4) - yes! yes! 3) - holy f*ck yes! 2) - YES! 1) - YESYESYEYSYES!!!!111~~ i agree with you completly. although i think the sheanad (s/p???) occonour (wtf??) album with her singing irish ballads deserved to be up there...

NEVER A DULL MOMENT WAS A COOL CD, NOW THAT TOMMY GOTS THAT OUT OF HIS SYSTEM, MAYBE THE CRUE WILL REUNITE AND DO A TOUR, AND THEN THEY WILL HANG IT UP GRACEFULLY. YOU SHOULDN'T COMPARE TOMMY LEE TO ANYONE ELSE BECAUSE HE IS A ONE OF A KIND TRUE ROCKSTAR.

Posted byP. Enos Hurtz:
Death to Hip Hop! Death to Hip Hop!

Posted byDeadSun:
Clearly, that was not for everybody who has posted here.

Posted byDeadSun:
(coarsely)... Abstaining from talking about, as B&B, would put it, "stuff that sucks", can only serve to strengthen the position of the opposing opinion. At what point in time did it become fashionable to harbor the following idea: opinion, argument, commentary or debate are all healthy forms of discourse, PROVIDED they are not negative, disagreeable, and devoid of "supportive" language. STOP IT! If Mr. George Orwell were here today, he might be thinking to himself, "Duckspeak, double-speak, double-think, thought crime...MAN I'm tired of being right!"

Posted byThe One:
The lord has spoken! I agree with everything in the above, except for what seems like a harsh review of the Missy album. Not classic, but it definitely didn't suck enough to give it a Top-5 lame spot. F*ck, most reviewers are giving it high ratings and it was pretty cool. With that said, I would like to defeat the whole point of my argument for Missy by adding that she recorded her album in less than 1 month, and frequently forgets the words to it and all...which kind of backs up the website reviews argument.

I forgot you have to SPELL IT OUT for some people or they just don't understand. But if you can’t figure out the distinction between what is implied from the terms “studio magic” and “vocal effects” then that’s your problem. If this was serious review then a more detailed explanation would have been warranted but this is simply a top 5 list. (BTW all you have to do is watch Kelly live or simply listen to her CD to hear the amount of her vocal talent…. Blah blah blah.) A bit of fun not to be taken overly seriously. I won’t make assumptions, since you have and were about as far off base as you could be. If I were to make any assumption then perhaps you are a vocalist and were offended by what I said when you assumed I meant that the use of vocal effects are used to cover up for lack of talent. That is not case, but when they are used to cover up for a lack of voice the term studio magic comes in to play. Oh yeah, I’m pretty sure that Ryan Adams uses vocal effects in the studio but I not too familiar with his work personally so I can’t be certain =)

I don't like the Khia song in the conventional sense, but more in the fact that it's one of those rap songs that are so bad that it's funny. Can you believe I downloaded it? An issue I have with it, and so many other rap hits, is that it wasn't even censored so much as it was re-written for radio/video. Doing that kinda changes, I don't know, the whole dynamic of a song, making it almost a totally different song. Kind of like watching a movie in "full screen", or especially in "full screen" and heavily edited for time and content.

Posted bykraplakistani warrior:
aG, why did you go and do this?? Don't give publicity to stuff you think sucks. This is like old women watching porn "just to see how bad it really is"! Ignore it or embrace it. (please ignore it - not the porn, just the bad music)

Posted bySubXavier:
Hehe... I find the Khia song hilarious, in its sheer novelty factor. You know she'll never have another hit, but just imagine that song on a one-hit-wonder list, hosted by William Shatner... hahaha.

Posted bynothing...u lazy bastards:
Hey (Austin 3:16, /(OBell3 @ aol.com) why the hell should you be reading a teen mag such as YM...oh I forgot you're a teeny bopper. And about Avril...I absolutely hate her but it does't mean I going to waste my precious time talking about her or anybody else!! I guess I'm not obsessed like all of you are. Anyways, about the 5 lamest cds, what about CREED, who suck and Justin Timberlake and Nick Carter....They both are terrible examples of the Michael Jackson "I'm leaving my boy band behind for now" excuse. FACE IT THEY JUST WANTED TO MAKE MORE TERRIBLE MUSIC THAN THEY MADE B4 WITH THEIR boy bands. NOTE TO THEM: you two are not credible musicians. They are probably as close to credible/believable as Axl Rose in to thnking Gun N' Roses is still alive.....

Posted byThe Advocate Devil:
I can't say I'm a Kelly Osbourne fan in the least, but I think the use of reverb/studio effects and an unwillingness to sing acappella when ordered is a pretty poor basis for criticism. I can't recall anyone going up to Kurt Cobain or Joey Ramone and saying, "sing us a few bars to prove you don't suck." And virtually every vocalist has their vocals "jizzed" in some way in the studio ... usually to the benefit of the listeners. Big deal.

Posted byneddylou:
I actually liked some of Tommy's CD. Yes, "Fame" wasn't too great, but some of the other songs, like "Hold me Down" and "Ashamed", I really like. I think I must be the only person who does though. Avril makes me ill. She is so overrated. And she's "punk"? Give me a break. She IS a punk, but she isn't close to punk in the musical sense.

Posted byzee:
I must give Kelly Osbourne one compliment: Marvelous name for a CD. Say what you will about her, but with her ingenious and creative title, she has captured the true essence of her music... in fact, of her very existence.

Posted byDeadSun:
Could you please, and I'm NOT being sarcastic, re-type that question, "Frizbee"? It is not particularly coherent the way it comes out, though it may be me not reading it well enough.

Posted byAustin 3:16, /(OBell3 @ aol.com):
I personally think that Avril is just plain bad. He hates on people such as Britney Spears. She did it just because other people were saying the same stuff about her. She couldn't even come up with legitimate reason why. Besides, deep down, somewhere down the road, she will come out the house with a long Versace dress claiming that it's just to try on to see what it's like wearing dresses. She looks absolutelylike a hot mess!!! She is a half-ass singing Alanis Morrisette!!! I read in YM magazine that she doesn't claim to be punk. She is slick punk rocker, on the side, that's pretending not to be one. How unoriginal is that!!

Thanks, Kizzy- I saw the post.

And Kizzy, if you would like to post for an artist that needs no debate over artistic integrity and validity: please post in "This is Radio Clash signing off".

Posted byDeadSun:
For shame, dear "Kizzymarie", you're twisting text and committing interpretational Tom Foolery. This is fine if you are not trying to logically make a case for Ms.O's artistic validity. Regarding the "hundreds of children" point: they did not get the #1 vote, Kelly did. The comments here have deductive relevance to the article.

MTV SUX ASS

Posted byKizzymarie:
WOW Guys.... I didn't realize that Kelly Osbourn had such an effect on all of your lives. She obviously has been doing something right. I think too many of you are focusing on the fact that she is OZZY's daughter, but if that's the case then what about the hundreds of other children who got their fame from who they know instead of real talent. Why not try giving her the chance to prove herself before being such asses. Jealousy will get you no where in life.

Posted byTK138:
After GG Allin goes on his date with Avril, we can then have him go on a date with Khia.

Posted byjesus, deadsun:
you have a warped, yet alluring mind

Posted byDeadSun:
If we can ever re-animate the dead, my first suggestion is to send Avril out on a date with GG Allin, her being a true-blue punk and all.

Posted byGREENMUSE:
that khia song was horrible,i wouldnt touch her with someones elses tongue, much less my own.*shivers*too short is still around?wow

Posted byTeamSlack:
KizzyMarie...you say people should give osbourne a chance to do her own thing. the point is...she will never be doing her own thing. she is nothing but a marketing ploy. she is not an artist. you have been suckered in.

I vote for any remix album
