Welcome
to the underGROUND. We have received several request from visitors for
features focused on indy and unsigned bands. We already do this with our
artist of the month specials and reviews, but since we have helped so many
people discover some great new artist that are out of the mainstream, they
want more.
That
will be our task here. We will feature some of today's best indy and unsigned
bands, giving you the opportunity to discover what you have been missing.
Plus in some cases preview the superstars of tomorrow.

News
Enuff
Z’nuff Release 10th studio album in Japan, reissues most of their previous
catalog. Chicago's Enuff Z’nuff have released their 10th album
aptly titled "10" in Japan. The first single “there goes my Heart” is already
in heavy radio rotation in the land of the rising sun. Enuff Z’nuff also
plan to head over to Japan this spring for a supporting Tour.
Perhaps
the most pop based album of this amazing band's career, this new record
is sure to win over new followers. As far as a US release of 10, there
is nothing set in stone yet. But sources close to the band say that they
are shopping the album with major labels hoping to land a deal soon. Hopefully,
one of the big boys will step up to bat and realize they have a potential
home run with Enuff Z’nuff and 10.
In
related news. Spitfire records will release re-issues of several titles
from the Enuff Z’nuff Catalog. “1985”, “Tweaked”, “Peachfuzz”, “Seven”,
and “Live” will all be available at most major record stores on March 7th.

More reviews to come in the near future.
Bobby Manriquez
- "Another Shade of Blues" Fan Review by Jamie G.
Bobby
Manriquez's "Another Shade of Blues" opens with a sound track that brings
to mind a lone African lion wailing for a mate. What follows is some of
the most exciting, inspired and sensual kind of blues-rock that I've heard
in AGES !! All the songs are three things: great, different and totally
captivating. His guitar work is second to NONE in that genre. The inter-woven
partial blues tracks say to me that Bobby can DO "all that" and much, much
more."How We Start" is a piece I'd put next to ANY guitar "hero"'s work.
It just NEVER lets up ! I found Manriquez here at Rock' n World. I sure
hope the rest of the planet comes down to his earthy domain. ........Jamie
G.
