Modern Rock re-invents itself everyday. Sooner or later you have
to be put in a box. Rachel's Demise is kicking and fighting all the
way. The main goal of the band is to make people feel again, whether
it's right or wrong, seeing life through a spiritual telescope. Lead
Vocalist Roger Lange met Guitarist Tom Ashe at a Blues Jam night where
they jammed for the first time. This was in 1994, and almost a year
later they formed Rachel's Demise. Bassist Jim Hamby became a part of
the project a month later, and within the next year Drummer John Ashe
joined the band. The band has been haunted by strange dreams and
visions and this activity has increase within these years. In the
beginning the band played alot of live shows, but during the recording
sessions they lost touch with the real world. Now that these sessions
have been captured they are gearing up to promote Psychotic Paradise.
Rachel's Demise is an Emotional Roller Coaster Rock Band.
Their debut CD "Psychotic Paradise" on Hyper Soul Records is somewhat of
a concept release. Although each song is an entity of its own, somehow
they have retained a distinct sound. It shows their ability as a ground
breaking band. Psychotic Paradise is a musicial journey through
emotional landmines of a troubled life. |
