hmm...some people are sad man, just plain sad. If you don't like a particular band or type of music ur free to express your opinion but juss do it in a respectful way. I'll say this now, I like butterfly and I think that Crazy Town aren't that bad but I wouldn't know seeing as i'm not a hard core fan. But why must u diss them buying a Dido cd? she rocks. If you are a true music lover then you should be able to appreciate many different genres of music, whether you think it is "cool" or not.

Butterfly Sucks SH*T and if i hear it one more time i will f**king explode, but the rest of the album is so amazing even the harder remixs of butterfly are cool! Crazy Town is a great band and just used butterfly to appeal to the masses and get there music heard! They are nothing like limp bizkit who sold out like the media whores they are!!!!

Im starting to really dislike crazy town, so anyone who shares my opinion for any reason, I just simply find marvalous darling (um just ignore that). Im anti crazy town because they are sexist, purile, and they bloody ponce about all over the tv! That lead singers tatoos (doesn't deserve to have name mentioned) they are really ott, and look really - well gay! Dont get me wrong theres nothing wrong with being gay, but Im sure this wasnt the image he was trying to potray! Actually the main reason I dont like crazy town (apart from the fact their songs are $hit) is that they realy remind me of one of my ex boyfriends, In the song revolving door, cos he basicaly acted like that around most girls and guys (still does), and anyway I really liked him but cos I would not ! him after a few weeks he dumped me, and although i got revenge (very nasty way actually, it stil annoys me and they annoy me! You dont know what you are talking about in your Crazy Town entry. Their music is awesome. Just listen to songs like Think Fast, Darkside, Lollipop P0rn, and Only When I'm Drunk. They might not be gangsters, but their not nerds. They dont dress like nerds and they certainly dont act like it. You were mad cuz they bought a Dido cd right? Well I am asuming that you like Limp Bizkit. I dont like them, but even their guitarist Wes Borland buys Sarah Mclaughlin cds. He was buying it for new ideas on his guitar playing skills. Don't believe me? Well I read it in an interview from Guitar Magazine. I hope you actually listen to your music before you buy it. I completely agree that Crazy Town SUCKS!! Every time i went to a Party the last two months they played Crazy Town "Butterfly" for at least 2!!!! Hours! AAAAARGHHHH!And every second time they played it some totally drunk ugly idiot thought he had to strip on the table.. Strangely ther never was a goodlooking person doing this.. What i can understand is the roll of them in the Musibizz: They are a Rap-boygroup for girls who are abit older and enjoy staring those Dumbasses on the sixpacks.

I've read ALL of the comments up to this one, and the thing that I saw is that anti's say that they suck cuz they don't have talent and the evidence of this is "Butterfly". The pro's guys say that "Butterfly" it's not the only song that they have done and that they have other cool ones. Very well, what I think it's that this is another genre of music: Rap/Rock/I dunno what else. Harmonically, the song "Butterfly" is cool, without those rappers-wannabes singing (just listen to the guitar on the background, and it has a nice harmonic to it). But, a BAND is composed by persons who do MUSIC and then, if the time tells it this way, they will also their image (you know... how they look, the style of their instruments, etc.) this way not only people will want to hear them, they'll also like to SEE them; of course, in the ideal part, this "selling image" wouldn't be necessary (it's all about the music). But this "band" has sold their image in the first place, looking like... THAT. This is something that Pop, Soul, and even some Rock have done... those are called sellouts. Remember 98 degrees? It WAS a boy band... they sold out, now they're nowhere to be seen. They had a large success though, much like the one that Crazy Town, and they had good songs (well, the fans thought they were good songs, just like in this case) and they opened and have main stages all over. I'm not saying that this will happen again, but this has happenned to others. And know what is the main ingredient for this? NO DEEP TALENT, NO DEEP EMOTIONS IN THEIR SONGS, NOTHING TO MAKE THE SONGS ETERNAL (like Hotel California, or Nothing Else Matters). And when I hear Butterfly, or Toxic, or Darkside, I don't hear that...

I always thought Crazytown SUCKED majorly; which they do...on record. But I think what gives them a little bit of clout is that they are not half bad live. I had the chance to see them with a bunch of GOOD bands this summer, and was surprised. I was like "Whoah, these guys suck but not NEARLY HALF as bad as I thought".

This band is the absolute epitomy of everything that is pathetic. They look like they walked into a tattoo parlor and said" Hey, I'm such a loser, but I'm going to be in a band, please make me look cool and trendy so that everyone will think I'm sexy, since I can't sing or play an instrument, this is my only hope of selling a record." linkin park is actually rap-rock, but that's beside the point. i probabally was the first fan of crazy town when i saw the videos for toxic and darkside. it gave me the impression of a good, unknown band. i bought the cd and i listened. some songs were good. but some like butterfly, were if the backstreet boys consisted of only the "tough" or "bad" one in the group.i prayed that butterfly wouldn't be released as a single. it was. and had a really gay video to go along with it. i have a few girls in my class who drool over shifty switchblade(the shirt-less one) like he was a backstreet boy or something.(crunkin')sell-outs if u ask me. by the way, crazy town WAS second stage last year, but were kicked off early because of drunken rowdyness. ps. munkeycop does NOT have anything against rap-rock and is a big fan of linkin park but does have a problem with "Prep" rap-rock bands like crazy town and limp bizkit. munkeycop would also like to add that limp bizkit are sell outs too. thank you for your time.

You based your opinion totally on the song "Butterfly". If you actually listen to the CD, you'll see most of the songs aren't like butterfly, and are more in the vein of Linkin Park. (Try listening to Darkside or B-Boy 2001

The reasoning behind their record deal: The rapper who is not blonde, his dad is some producer or manager (I belive he was billy joel's manager). So Crazy Town obviously got their record deal the same way as the wallflowers. Both bands are non-talent ass clowns with connections.

a lot of people, including antiguy, seem to have a problem with eclecticity. does it matter what a band or a person listens to or likes? a true fan of music would show some appreciation towards many genres and get over the fact they bought a dido cd. maybe butterfly doesn't have much rock, but other crazytown songs do. It is all part of enjoying what you do, and crossing between styles is a part of that. i don't particularly like crazy town, or the rap/rock idea, but you have to show respect for those who experiment.
