they are not in every song they produce or write. But to everyone saying
Missy have no talent. How did she get where she is today if she had no
talent? How did she have record companies fighting over her if she had
no talent? How did she have artist busting her door down to write for them
if she had no talent? Why is she still one of the most sought after writer/producer
there is today if she had no talent? Why are people forever biting her

has some example that's bearable or even good- for example I detest country,

creative rappers out there. As for Missy Elliot... Let's just say she isn't

the fact that i am a huge "Missy Elliot" fan. I strongly beleive that not
every piece of music has to make you think deep meaningful thoughts neither
does it have to be profound poetry. One of the reasons why i enjoy missy's
music so much is that her songs always have a different sound to it. Her
music is all about fun. Her lyrics make me laugh and go "yeah thats some
hype sheeet", and every new song she comes out with is a hit. It doesnt
matter what any of you haters out there think. Missy may not be able to
write some profound poetry but she is sure able to write some " tuff aas
pumpin tunes". All the stuck up people still seem to view music as some
classical, way of relaxing while reflecting on life. Not me i think music
can be any way you want it to be and with Missy's music i always have fun.
Missy is my mentor and I would do anything to meet her. Someone who is
so dedicated to having fun and producing music for the HIP HOP FANS. To
all you haters out there dont hate on the flava hate on the game.

rap as anyone else, but what alot of people fail to realize is what you're
hearing from Missy and about 3/4 of all other so called "rap" artists is
not rap at all. Any real or decent rap died somewhere in the early to mid
90's. I suppose you could call it hip hop...but not rap. Usually rap requires
a certain flow to your lyrics. Whatever the hell Missy Elliot does has
absolutely no flow whatsoever. Aren't you supposed to rhyme when you rap?
I mean always rhyme, not just once every other verse. As far as those innovative
beats you talk of, those are nothing special, least of all original. They
use that standard boom boom boooommmmm, Just like everyone else. Her and
Timbaland are shyt producers, coming up with a beat is no huge accomplishment
(is that the Night Rider theme song I hear in Get Yo Freak On?). The only
reason people want to work with them is to have their name on that album
with the hopes that it will help sales, not quality. "Write music for the
year 3000", are you kidding me? Were not quite there yet. To me that sounds
like a lame-a$$ attempt to justify their shyt they call music.

there were inside jokes about them.) I won't argue, her lyrics aren't the

the same two letter word at the end of every fragmented sentence in all
of your 2 minute songs (1 minute to write the lyrics the other 1 minute
to decide whether the beat should be: thump,thump,thummmmp or thump thummmmmmp
thump)...you have no talent. I often wonder if even the people that listen
to this shyt can actually understand the lyrics. There should be a law
on how much slang you can use in your lyrics before they become unintelligible.
