A hoog is used to call those woman (or men, sometimes) when they're too young to be called hags. Cher is a hag, J LO is a hoog...pretty simple, isn't it? Though it's somewhat of a slang, it carries meaning. To me, it describes all those hip hoppy morons. I find J LO utterly repulsive & ugly...and yeah, there are many many many more beautiful & attractive women out there, just around us who make J LO look like an ape in comparison. The only difference is they don't have to so inflated to insure their bodies for a billion dollars.

I don't think J-ho is ugly, but I don't see where all these magazines and E! pick her as "The sexiest woman in the world". She wouldn't be in my Top 25, or even my Top 100! I see all kinds of women every day on the street or at work who are hotter than she is. J-ho beats Sarah Jessica Parker any day of the week, though. Talk about woof!

Actually, the one thing I do not like in our culture is the indoctrination of the inner city into kids' minds. I am not racist and am glad rappers and R&B artists can record music, but their influence is too great. It bothers me to see younger kids listen to flithy, beat-box laden gangsta rap and wear baggy clothes. Call me close-minded, but I hate that trend. (By the way, there is a difference between wearing big clothes for comfort and big clothes for style.)

When I was younger, my parents refused to buy me CD's and tapes unless it was my birthday. Thanks to them, they taught me the value of spending money on what is truly important, and good music is truly important. The reason why parents buy their kids this stuff and don't care is due to the fact that every mom and dad wants a normal child; let's face it, people who listen to Ozzy and Tool aren't usually the average Joe. All parents worry about is getting their kids educated and playing sports; parents could care less about whether or not their kids have an opinion or good taste. It really doesn't bother me that much that kids today listen to music with no base, for it is their taste and they have the right to listen to whatever they want. My argument that Randy Rhoads is the best guitarist of all time falls on deaf ears, and when someone tells me about a popular "artist" I could care less. Rememer, companies are out to make money. I bet a lot of music CD's think their product bites but they know what SELLS, and fluff sells. They find a formula and stick with it, even if critics and more mature listeners pan it. The best we true music fans can do is keep our cool and respect what other people listen to.
