not just J-lo it is entertainment period. Why should Jennifer Lopez get
millions for being B rate when this country has teachers who are so great

Mediocrity in mainstream media has reached its lowest point. J.Lo's music
is the equivalent of a fast-food chain. She is as satisfying as a greasy
burger, (think White Castle). Her music makes a bunch of iliterate, mindless
and ignorant people happy. Her movies are made to satisfy a group of people
whose lives are meaningless.As long as there are people in this country
with no education, as long as there is white trash and glorified ghettoe
people in this country, as long as there are high school drop outs out

public "romances" where she's seen all over the place sucking lips is about

hoopla over NOTHING, and I knew this from the start -- but the sad thing
is that it's gone totally out of control, she's all over the airwaves like
bad gas fumes. Pretty is as pretty does in this business, but this HO doesn't

give it time...she'll be struggling to hold all her "assets" up just to

giving up, getting seperated, and fighting. In the 60's there was very
many "government housing plans" where everbody dose drugs and shoots the
crap out of each other. I mean, if the fire fighteres won't even go there
without police escorts, what is this world coming to? I love the 50's-60's

what you get...why can't people understand this? In closing, J-LO is very

take out a FULL PAGE ad telling the world in no uncertain terms how much

on their two new films? If Ben says these nice things then surely we have
to take him at his word. There is no way it could have just been a PR spin
to promote their new films, I mean c'mon. Just because "Jenny" has a huge
demand list for before and after "live" shows, wears veluor trackies, drives
incredibly expensive cars that cost the same as a comfortable home, shops
constantly and speaks only to those deemed worthy doesn't mean she's any
different to when she was starting out. Just ask her record company or
someone in her entourage. She has the talent and the ASS to manipulate
and do whatever it takes to get to the top. We have to swallow this crap
in Australia, but more and more are beginning to see this for what it is.

Someone: I cant stress enough how talent, in no
way, equals success. I'm not a teeny-bopper, but even as a J.lo fan, I
must agree. And not just about J.lo herself, but about Britney and the
rest of the corporate juggernauts. I know J.lo may not have the best voice
around, but her music is enjoyable. But you have to think about it. Back
in the day, our parents were just the same as we were today. They wanted
to rush out to spend money on the latest Beatles records and such. The
only difference today is that today's music is spit out by the corporate
machine. Therefore, portraying it as a waste of money. But what dominates
talent is obvious. It's image and style!!! If you dont have style, but
talent, dont bother. I think this is what J.Lo is proving and I believe
it's what Madonna proved early on. Back in the 80's she didn't have too
good of a voice either, but she dressed hip and had enough style to make
it. Let's hope J.Lo doesn't decide to hitch-hike naked.

etc., not only have they not had time to sell out yet, they need your fundage!
I'm from Canada and I see lots of kick ass unknowns roll through my little
city... surely there must be plenty of really good bands trying to make
it down there. Forget MTV (Much Music in Canada) and the radio and go check
out some live entertainment, the way music was meant to be heard (unadulterated
and the way the real artist wants). Besides, music is just plain better
over beer. As for J.Lo's ass, I haven't seen it recently but I bet it looks
better with beer too. As for your comments about the world's view of America,
I'd just like to say that while some of the reasons people have for disliking
America are justifiable, I've traveled around the U.S. a bit and the Americans
I've met have been freindly and hospitable. You guys should come up north
and visit when when legalize it (2003?!?).

music is horrendous. There was a time when groups (like the Beatles) would
start out as boy bands (except actually playing their own instruments)
and allow their music to grow. When is the last time anyone heard an original,
creative song from one of the heterogeneous fasion model groups that plagues
our society today? For those of you who think this is about jealousy...I
used to be a teeny-bopper (yes, I admit it) and there is absolutely nothing
of which I am remotely jealous, except perhaps the blind ignorance with
which many of you purchase your CDs and designer jeans while we bomb the
hell out of third-world countries. This isn't about jealousy. This is about
wanting to hear something that isn't composed of a simple chord progression
and some cheesy lyrics from the back of a crack jacks box. Check out some
good music. Elliott Smith, Sleater-Kinney (who do ROCK despite what that
other fellow said). Heck, check out www.killrockstars.com, they'll set

Finally: I've finally found a site to add my comments
about Jennifer Lopez. I agree 100%, that she doesn't have any talent singing.
The more she sings, the more it shows her lack of vocal talent. What really
gets to me is not only her lack of talen, but the fact that after Sept.
11, she was quoted as saying she's afraid to come into New York. Hey, granted
everyone was/is fearful after 9/11, but she's makes her money in New York.
Now she doesn't want to support it? The woman's career and personal life
is based on lies. C'mon, leave Puffy after he gets into trouble, marry
someone for like a few months, divorce, find someone else in a month and
who knows what else in between.

Larubia: I think Jennifer Lopez is going to dig
her own hole. She was alright as an actress, when she first started, but
now it seems that she just picks movies to do something. Her movies SUCK
now. Since '99 when she decided to come out with a record. I give her credit
for doing so much in her life, but every aspect of her career suffers the
more projects she takes on. She's an excellent dancer, an alright actress,
when she's got a good script. But, I'm sorry, she can't sing for sh**.
Ashanti even sang on one of her track and she tried to pass it as her own
voice til Ashanti came out and said that she ghost sang for her so to get
some money. Her entire voice is computer generated and she hardly sings
live due to the fact that her voice is weak.
