Kid Rock 'Beyond Devastated' After Fatal Accident

Kid Rock is "beyond devastated" after he discovered the body of his 30-year-old personal assistant and friend Michael Sacha, who was killed in an ATV accident on Rock's property in Nashville earlier this week.

Rock writes on his official website, "I am beyond devastated to report that my personal assistant Mike Sacha passed away today in an ATV accident here in Nashville. He was a member of our family and one of the greatest young men I have ever had the pleasure to not only work with, but also to become friends with.

"I know I speak for us all in sharing my deepest condolences to his family. I can not imagine how they must feel. Myself, the band, our family, friends and co-workers are devastated over this loss. We were supposed to be back in Michigan today, but I am going to stay here with Mike until I can bring him home to his family.

"We've already been contacted by the press asking if it was me who was in the accident, so I want to stop any rumors before they spread. I'm asking everyone to please respect our and his families' privacy in this difficult time. RIP Mike. We will never forget you, my friend. - Kid Rock"

Police in Nashville put out the following statement about the accident, "Investigation by North Precinct detectives shows that an ATV accident is responsible for the overnight death of Michael Sacha, 30, on private property at 3631 Knight Drive owned by Robert Ritchie, known professionally as musician Kid Rock. Sacha worked for Ritchie as a personal assistant.

"Officers were called to the scene at 11:36 a.m. and found that Sacha was deceased on the embankment of the property's long driveway. Detectives learned that Sacha drove two individuals who had attended a cookout down the driveway to meet with an Uber driver at midnight. While riding the ATV back toward the residence, Sacha apparently lost control and crashed.

"Ritchie began looking for Sacha late this morning when he couldn't find him at the residence. Ritchie and a friend discovered Sacha on the embankment and immediately telephoned for help."

(Radio.com) Prolific songwriter and musician Prince did not leave a will behind, according to his sister and only surviving full sibling Tyka Nelson, so she's asked the court to appoint an administrator to step in and handle his estate.

Nelson filed a request on Tuesday (April 26) in a Minneapolis court, requesting that a judge appoint Brener Trust to see to her brother's estate (via The Hollywood Reporter). Court documents reveal that Brener Bank managed provided Prince with financial services for several years. Nelson stated that the matter was urgent, and sought an immediate action.

It's unclear how much his estate is worth, but considering Prince's sales skyrocketed over 40,000% following his death, the urgency of the matter seems clear (via The Washington Post). James Corden Takes On Beyonce's Becky Mystery

(Radio.com) It was only a matter of time before parodies of Beyonce's new album Lemonade started popping up. Late night talk show host James Corden seems to be the first to release his.

Corden used Queen Bey's album about love, betrayal, and forgiveness as the foundation for his video about writing a monologue for his show. The British host got elaborate with the wigs, costume changes, sets, and poetic interludes just like Bey's visual album.

Corden jokes about a school in Texas potentially renaming itself after Donald Trump and immediately filing for bankruptcy.

James Corden even gets in on the "Becky" mystery. He hilariously asks audiences, "Does this make you laugh like Jimmy with the good hair?" referring to late night rival Jimmy Fallon. Check the James Corden video here.

Coldplay's Chris Martin Covers Prince with 8th Graders

(Radio.com) Coldplay frontman Chris Martin performed a unique version of a Prince song at a Chords 2 Cure benefit concert in Santa Monica, Calif on April 24. During the concert, which raised money for pediatric cancer research, Martin teamed up with a band of eighth graders onstage and covered "Raspberry Beret." In addition, Martin played Coldplay's "Twisted Logic" live for the first time ever.

While "Twisted Logic," off Coldplay's 2005 release X&Y might have been familiar for the teens, as Martin recalls, Prince wasn't. Before the show, Martin suggested the song to the eight graders, who looked at him as if he was speaking Greek: "[I said] 'Let's do this song. It's a very famous Prince song.' They said, 'We don't know it. We've never heard of it. We're, like, 14,'" Martin told the audience.

The band of eighth graders, called the A-Sides, learned the song in three hours. Martin thanked everyone in the audience for allowing him to play their "very special concert. Please feel free to stand and prove your love," Martin said right before the band kicked off the song. Watch it here.

Cole Swindell Streams Sentimental New Song 'Stars'

(Radio.com) After stopping listeners' hearts with his last single "Flatliner" featuring Dierks Bentley, Cole Swindell slows things down and gets sweet with his new song, "Stars." It appears on his upcoming second studio album, You Should Be Here.

"You wish on 'em/Party underneath 'em/Way out there where it's easy to see 'em/Stars," Swindell sings in the opening. But if you think this is Swindell's poetic musings on those twinkling lights above, think again.

The romantic ballad, grounded in country-leaning guitar, finds Swindell dancing with his lady out underneath the night sky, and comparing the way she makes him feel to the lights overhead. "You stare at 'em/Swear if you can reach 'em/You'd give her one/Cuz she's got you seeing/Stars/Since that night she stole your heart," he sings.

Swindell doubled down and released a bonus video with the single, which finds him singing against a sparkling city skyline. Check it out here.

Drake's 'Views from the 6' Cover Sparks Internet Meme Storm

(Radio.com) On April 24, Drake released the artwork for his upcoming album Views from the 6. The cover shows him sitting high above the city on the edge of Toronto's CN Tower.

On Tuesday (April 26), the CN Tower confirmed that Drake had indeed been Photoshopped on the structure, and did not sit outside to pose, since that would be exceedingly dangerous.

As with any other Drake song, music video or thing, his Views from the 6 artwork has set off an Internet meme storm. Users have Photoshopped Drake onto other famous buildings, or Photoshopped celebrities sitting with him on the CN Tower.

There's the time Drake also starred in Ant-Man, or the time he returned to Degrassi Junior High, or the time he sat atop the famous diner from Seinfeld, or that sad day he couldn't get tickets to the Toronto Blue Jays so he sat atop the CN Tower for the best view. So many memes. See some of the best, starting with Drake's original cover, here.

Singled Out: Milton J and The Leftovers' Killing Dreams

Milton J and The Leftovers sent us the following about the song "Killing Dreams" from their brand new album "Vain Wisdom". Here is the story:

Over the last year, Milton J and The Leftovers have created a buzz in the Mid Atlantic. Rocking the stage from NY to NC, This hip-hop/Rock group has had the opportunity to share the stage with a range of major artists including Redman, Rehab, Nappy Roots, !Mayday!, R.A. the Rugged Man, Ces Cru, Almost Kings, Whitney Peyton, and Super Bob. Their dedication to the music is evident as they are currently finalists for best Rap/RnB act in the Maryland Music Awards, #1 on the ReverbNation charts in their city, and have an unmistakable face in the DMV music scene.

Their single "Killing Dreams", released March 26, begins the campaign for their upcoming album "Vain Wisdom". The track represents the struggles of being a musician in the modern industry. From the formulaic copies of artists in each genre trying to make it in the game to the shady cut throat deals behind the scenes of the business. "Killing Dreams" expresses the frustration, anxiety, and self-doubt of an artist trying to create something unique and intangible in a noisy world of labels, gimmicks, and entertainment. Milton J speaks about the conscious digression of the hip-hop and rock culture that surrounds him and how the inability of truly expressing oneself as a real individual can kill one's dreams.

The single also demonstrates the range of ability and musicianship of the group. Milton J and The Leftovers have a unique voice: a raw mixture of Alternative Rock and Hip-hop developed into it's own consciousness. "Killing Dreams" not only exemplifies the group's sound to the listener but more importantly showcases the intentions of the crew as they delve deeper into the music industry.

Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and learn more about the album right here!
