AP reports: Canadian police say fugitive murder suspect Ryan Jenkins has been found dead of an apparent suicide in a motel in British Columbia.
Sgt. Duncan Pound of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police border integrity unit says police responded to a call about a dead person in Hope, east of Vancouver, and then called investigators who were part of the massive manhunt for Jenkins.
The real estate developer and reality show contestant was wanted in California on first-degree murder charges after the mutilated body of his ex-wife was found near Los Angeles.

The Jackson family said earlier he would buried on 29 August on what would have been his 51st birthday. The cause of his death in June remains unclear.

Billboard reports: Hanson plans to play a bunch of new music for its fans this fall -- even though the sibling trio's new album won't come out until probably the spring of 2010.
"We've tried since we started to not go more than a year without throwing something new to the fans," singer-keyboardist Taylor Hanson tells Billboard.com. "So this (tour) is kind of a warm-up to the new record and...just being a touring band and staying active."
Hanson says the new album, the group's third for its own 3CG label, is finished but untitled at the moment. Recorded mostly at Sonic Ranch in Torrillo, Tx., the set was produced by the group, without any co-writers.

Audible Treats reports: New York based multimedia and hip-hop recording artist Bisco Smith is proud to reveal his newest project, The Broadcast. The album, produced from start to finish by J.Vegus, with all art and design by Smith himself, is Bisco Smith's fifth release and will be available this fall.
To reflect the new chapter in his musical progression, Bisco Smith has decided to make the switch from his long time moniker Bisc1, and with his new title and new project, Bisco finds a new, more developed sound in The Broadcast. He and J.Vegus work together to highlight a musical direction that amplifies the broadcast theme.
In regard to the title and theme behind his new album, Bisco Smith states, "The Broadcast title and concept have a few layers. One, references to radios and the overall theme of tuning in show up in many of the tunes I was writing so it seemed to almost craft itself. The other thought is that the music and words are this signal I am sending out to the world and hopefully the range of listeners broadens while it is being broadcasted."
