Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz Stream New Track 'Gotta Love'

(Radio.com) Today is the day that Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz release their ColleGrove project, and yesterday (March 3) the rappers premiered the track "Gotta Love" on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show.

From start to finish, the song has a slick feel. It begins with a soft beat and the sounds of a lighter being flicked three times, before a synth reminiscent of a classic 1980s horror movie quickly takes over. Both 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne are heavily auto-tuned throughout the track, even on their verses.

The pair previously premiered "Rolls Royce Weather Everyday" from the project on The Tonight Show back in mid-February. ColleGrove was released today, March 4th. Listen to "Gotta Love" here.

Jadakiss Reveals Remix Of Justin Bieber's 'Sorry'

(Radio.com) Jadakiss has put his stamp on one of Justin Bieber's most recent hits. The Yonkers MC dropped a remix of "Sorry." The track also features Jadakiss associate Nino Man, who was also featured on Jada's remix of Jeremih's "Oui."

The D-Block general opens the song rapping about a woman who heads down to the Dominican Republic in order to get butt implants and lies about it when she comes back.

Nino Man brings the laughs when he asks to be forgiven for spending his girlfriend's whole tax refund. Once the pair of rappers spit their bars, Bieber comes in and the song rides out as we know it.

Justin Bieber met Jadakiss at L.A. hotspot 1OAK about three months ago and the pair hit it off. Jada posted a photo of them on Instagram with the caption, "WIT MY GUY @justinbieber. He's official." Check the song and photo here.

The People Vs. OJ Simpson Vs. Adele Mashup

(Radio.com) On this week's episode of The People Vs. OJ Simpson, the prosecution pivoted on a phone call between Marcia Clark (Sarah Paulson) and Christopher Darden (Sterling K. Brown).

Over at The Late Late Show, James Corden saw shades of Adele in the late-night conversation, which began with the familiar words: "Hello?" and "It's me."

Like any good late night host, Corden put his staff to work laying audio from Adele's "Hello" over footage from the mega-hit installment of American Crime Story.

As Clark, Paulson continues, "We talked this afternoon. Are you comfortable with that? Are you happy?" seeming to lift words and ideas directly from the Adele track. Finally, the mash-up brings in the swelling chorus as Cuba Gooding Jr. (as OJ Simpson) is pictured in a jumpsuit--hello from the other side, indeed.

When in doubt, Corden should rely on Adele for comic inspiration--her installment of his "Carpool Karaoke" series broke late night streaming records and captivated fans as only Adele can. Check it out here.

Brett Eldredge Covers Sinatra's 'Come Rain or Come Shine'

(Radio.com) Brett Eldredge shows off his debonair side in a new video where he covers Frank Sinatra's classic "Come Rain or Come Shine." Donning a tuxedo that gives the country crooner a slick polish, Eldredge shows off his polished vocal skills.

Performing the song at Skull's Rainbow Room in Nashville's Printer's Alley (via The Boot), Eldredge lends the standard a slight hint of country. But he displays a sure-throated voice and range, proving he's up to the task of covering Ol' Blue Eyes. A full backing band gives the song its standard sound, which nicely contrasts Eldredge's subtle country twangs.

This isn't the first time the country musician has covered Sinatra. He has a habit of turning to the legend when it comes to cover songs, and that may very well be because of what he listened to while growing up.

Speaking with People in 2014, his mom Robin Eldredge said about her son performing Sinatra covers at a Nashville benefit, "I'm absolutely thrilled to see him do this because he used to do this [style of music] when he was younger, but I haven't heard him do it in a long time." Check out the new video here.

Country's Family Reunion Flashing Back To Classic Episodes

Nearly 20 years later, Gabriel Communications celebrates more than a dozen projects, featuring hundreds of songs and never-before-heard stories from some of country music's original artists, which would have otherwise been lost forever.

The "'Country's Family Reunion' Collection Series" DVD box set (available here) features four different show compilations including "Country's Family Reunion Original," "Country's Family Reunion Celebration," "Country's Family Reunion Gospel," and "Stories From The Golden Age Of Country." Brandy Clark Explains 'Girl Next Door'

(Radio.com) "The girl next door" is an American archetype. As the Urban Dictionary explains, she's shy, unassuming and nice: "Think of Renee Zellweger's character in Jerry Maguire."

Singer/songwriter Brandy Clark has written about this archetype in her new song, "Girl Next Door," based on the experience of one of her co-writers. "I wrote that with Jessie Jo Dillon and Shane McAnally, and that idea came from Jessie Jo. Jessie Jo is the epitome of cool; she's a little bit of a wild child, and she was dating this guy who loved that about her when he first met her, and then as time wore on, he wanted her to be a little bit more demure."

"And I said, 'Well, what do you think of that?' She's like, 'I wanna say, "Brother, you want the girl next door, go next door!"' And I said, 'Jessie, that's a song!'" Read more here.

Meghan Trainor Battled Body Image Doubts

(Radio.com) Meghan Trainor knew she was destined for musical success, but growing up she didn't feel like she had the body for it. In a new interview with CBS Sunday Morning with Charles Osgood airing Sunday, March 6th, Trainor opens up about hating her body when she was younger, and how she has since learned to be more confident.

Speaking with Tracy Smith, Trainor admits how she used hide her figure underneath baggy clothing. 'I - every day - wore sweatshirts and sweatpants to cover up my body because I was so insecure," she says. 'And it would be summer. And I would go on vacation and I'd be in Trinidad and Tobago, 90-degree weather, and I'd be wearing sweatshirts that said 'Nantucket.'"

She adds, 'I didn't want to show my arms. I didn't want to show anything, and I was just so insecure and uncomfortable, and I thought, like, 'All right, if I'm fully covered, I'm good. And that's not what I should have been feeling." Read more here.

Singled Out: Army of the Universe's The Magic

Army of the Universe recently released their "The Magic (Deluxe)" EP and to celebrate we asked Treba to tells us about the title track for the effort. Here is the story:

This song was not meant to be this song. It was a whole direct thing, but after a computer crash we lost some of the original files; it was too painful to rebuild it. It was meant to be called "The Last One," in fact this track should have been the last track to record for our second album The Hipster Sacrifice back in 2013. We were listening to the remaining files and this particular lyric part caught our attention. We decided to drop the original idea, not to include the song in the album and we agreed on reworking the mix around this catchy vocal.

We loaded a new session and Trebla cut some of the original guitars to make a brand new riff, the one the song starts with. The riff was the game changer. We finally had a big fat guitar which we could combine with our typical heavy electro drums and a touch of analog.

Here we go The idea was there, printed. We just needed to blend the old parts in it and it fell like working on a remix, which is a little weird. But that was the final approach. We took that way, we called our friend and co-producer Gosteffects in New York and simply told him: "John, the track is there but we are still missing some kick-ass sound design element to make it real. Keep this arrangement but treat it as a remix". John knew exactly what to do. One week later the track we received the first mix and that was basically it.

Some more facelift and we knew we had our single. We needed one in order to warm up for our new album which will come later on 2016. "The Magic" has its own video (watch it here) and a great remix by EDM superstar producer Deorro (here).

Learn more about the group right here!
