Vulgar Meek Mill Song Played On Children's Radio Show

(Radio.com) Meek Mill's track "My Mind Is Gone," which contains 53 curses, recently aired unedited during a block of children's programming on a UK radio station.

NME reports that the program's young hosts got a request to play the track, unaware of its lyrical content, and that their adult supervisor was in the restroom at the time it played.

A spokesman for Ofcom, the communications regulator in the UK, told NME "This programme breached broadcasting rules after it played a song which included highly offensive language." Read more here.

Carrie Underwood Goes Live For 'Church Bells' Video

(Radio.com) Carrie Underwood has premiered her new music video for "Church Bells" off her fifth studio album Storyteller on Tuesday (May 10). The live concert video shows Underwood performing "Church Bells" in a glamorous gold dress reminiscent of medieval armor while singing in the center of a packed stadium.

The video cuts between Underwood singing that song to other parts of her concert, showing off her fashion choices as well as the experience she gives fans, including her "Carrie Cam" and her backing band's jam sessions. With a few more months to go on her tour, Underwood looks as though she gives fans young and old a memorable time.

"Church Bells" cleverly flips the titular phrase on its head, moving as it does from a wedding to a funeral so that the song's central character Jenny experiences two major life events while hearing "church bells."

Even though it was originally supposed to conclude in May, Underwood extended her Storyteller Tour until November. She remarked about how much she enjoys the 360-degree view of the audience she gets from performing on a circular stage every night, which viewers can see in her new music video. Watch "Church Bells" here.

Meghan Trainor Releases Corrected 'Me Too' Video

(Radio.com) Meghan Trainor promised fans they would see her new, personally-approved cut of "Me Too" by Friday, but it turns out her team worked a lot faster than that. On Tuesday (May 10), Trainor re-released the music video she pulled only Monday.

Trainor initially pulled the video, which debuted on Vevo and was available for a few hours on May 9, after discovering she'd been Photoshopped. Her waist, which she claimed "is not that teeny," had been shaved down throughout the video to appear smaller.

On Snapchat, Trainor told her fans that she wasn't going to put up with that kind of treatment, and said the people behind the video were going to make things right. At the time, it seemed as though it would take a few days to re-debut the video, but as of Tuesday things were back on track. Watch the video here.

Prince Didn't Want To Appear With The Kardashians On 'New Girl'

(Radio.com) Prince didn't make TV appearances often (or really ever), so when actress Zooey Deschanel got a call back in 2013 that Prince wanted to appear in her show New Girl she was "floored."

Appearing on Conan Monday night (May 9), Deschanel explained, "One September day, three years ago maybe, I got an email from his manager saying that he liked watching the show and wanted to come on, which was surprising because I wouldn't have pegged him as a New Girl fan."

Despite being flabbergasted, Deschanel and producers arranged for Prince to appear on the show under the premise that the main characters attended a party at his house. At the time, someone on the show arranged for other celebrities to appear at the party, but apparently there was one particular family Prince didn't want involved.

"It turns out that someone from Prince's camp said, 'Who are the celebrities? I hope it's not a Kardashian,'" Deschanel told Conan. As a result, a frantic PA ran around the set the morning of Prince's arrival, grabbing scripts and call sheets to burn them in order to hide the fact that Khloe Kardashian and her mom Kris Jenner had indeed been asked to participate." Blake Shelton Talks Duet With Gwen Stefani

(Extra) Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's love story played out on "The Voice" stage Monday night. The couple, who got together while working on the hit show, debuted their duet "Go Ahead and Break My Heart" from Shelton's upcoming country album, "If I'm Honest."

The two have never been more honest with their feelings, gazing into each other's eyes the entire time they sang. "Extra" learned the packed-on-PDA performance was pre-taped and took two takes. After one take, Blake gave her a hug and kissed the top of her head.

Blake was with "Extra's" Renee Bargh before the show, gushing over his girlfriend and saying he has never seen people from other countries be interested in his music before, but has noticed it on social media because of her. "It's the power of Gwen Stefani, man."

Anticipating getting on stage with his girlfriend, he said, "It's not like anything I think that she and I have ever done before. This is such an honest song just about kind of how we got started."

Opening up about the song's inception, he said, "Originally, when I started the song, I was just, I was only trying to impress her, you know, just trying to write her a song to get her excited about me, and I sent her the song half-finished and she wrote the other half of the song, so it's such a 50/50 emotionally-invested thing."

Getting giddy, he said, "It's already fun just talking about it - the fact that this is happening is exciting." Read more here.

Singled Out: The Rev's Testify

Today Christian Music star The Rev tells us the inspiration behind his single and music video called "Testify". Here is the story:

The single "Testify" was written during a dark moment in my life. During that time I lost my job, my car was repossessed, and I experienced a devastating divorce (2nd marriage); which forced me to move back to my home town. During this horrific moment, I was extremely depressed and could not fathom why I was having such bad luck. After giving my all to my former place of employment and a romantic relationship which I thought would last forever. I was literally left homeless, and had to move in with family until I was able to get back on my two feet.

The feeling of shame, and rejection, left me senseless. As a result, I medicated my pain through drinking and other activities that was contradictory to my spiritual upbringing. So I prayed and asked God to please open a door for me to find a job. After going through numerous job interviews. I was finally able to secure a position at a lockdown juvenile facility.

It was tough for me to maintain that position because I needed a car to get to work. So I had to borrow my mother's car, until I was able to save enough money to purchase my own vehicle. After a few months of saving, I was able to purchase my own car, and later was inspired by the kids I worked with to record the song professionally. For me, this song is about surviving tough times, and persevering until the storm of life subsides . Originally, I wrote the song to help me therapeutically. But the more people heard it, than it became part of their life story. Everyone in life has either been, or presently going through, a tough circumstance. Yet, the inspirational message behind the single "Testify" was written to tell whoever is reading my personal testimony to hold on and be strong, and no matter who or what is against you, the creator of the Universe has the last word.

Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself as you watch the video here and learn more about The Rev right here!
