Private Prince Memorial Service Held In Minnesota

(Radio.com) Prince was remembered on Sunday (May 15), in a private ceremony at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Minnetonka, Minnesota. The 45-minute ceremony was an invitation-only event, according to the BBC.

Hundreds of mourners attended, including Prince's friend Sheila E and members of his band, 3rdEyeGirl. Former Sly and the Family Stone bassist Larry Graham was also there and spoke at the memorial service. Graham first introduced Prince to the Jehovah's Witnesses faith and was a mentor up until the time of his death.

The service began with the song "He Will Call," followed by an opening prayer. A quote from Prince on the program of the memorial read, "If I were to ever write down my life story, I could truly say with all the fame and glory, I was just a piece of clay in need of the potter's hand." Adele has announced that she will be premiering the music video for her latest single "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" during the 2016 Billboard Music Awards broadcast next week.

The song comes from her blockbuster album "25" and the video for the track was directed by Patrick Daughters (Feist, Muse, Yeah Yeah Yeahs) and was filmed in London.

She said (via Radio.com) "I did want to do one for 'When We Were Young' -- and we had an idea for it, but we couldn't get it right and I was like 'I can't do any old video for 'When We Were Young.' Because that's like my favorite song I've ever written."

She then added, "But for this one we've got a really cool video, we did it on Monday. And you'll not believe it, but I'm dancing in it. Can you believe it? Lost all of my inhibitions. Ariana Grande Selling 'Let Me Love You' Featuring Lil Wayne Video

Ariana Grande continues to prepare fans for the release of her new album "Dangerous Woman." The pop star released the latest video from the effort for the track "Let Me Love You" which features rapper Lil Wayne.

Grande announced the new music video via her social media pages on Sunday and informed fans that it was directed by Grand Singer (The Weekend, Skrillex).

Unfortunately, it appears that fans will have to purchase the video via Apple Music if they want to watch it in full. At press time the official video was unavailable on free streaming video sites. The iTunes store is selling the clip for $1.99.

This practice is a role reversal for music videos, which have traditionally been offered for free as a way to promote singles. Apple is offering a short preview of the clip here.

Coldplay Release Buzz Worthy 'Up&Up' Video

(Radio.com) Coldplay have released a new music video for "Up&Up" which is the third single from their latest studio album "A Head Full of Dreams." The new clip re-imagines spaces in creative ways so that a volcano becomes a popcorn popper and a sponge becomes a soccer field.

The video blends natural and urban settings with past and present images for something surreal and beautiful. Directed by Vania Heymann and Gal Muggia, the video is an inventive look at the unity of the planet. Coldplay looms large within that theme. Chris Martin lays on vast fields while singing and Will Champion plays drums sitting as tall as a mountain.

The video seems to suggest how much the world needs harmony between animals and people, as well as people from different ethnicities. Martin sings on the chorus, "Saying we're gonna get it, get it together/ I know we're gonna get it, get it together somehow/ We're gonna get it, get it together and flow." By presenting a kind of visual flow, the video does just that. Watch it here.

Christina Aguilera Does Adele, Katy Perry, Rihanna Impressions On TV

(Radio.com) Christina Aguilera stopped by the Ellen show on Monday (May 16), where she did her impressions of a number of her fellow popstars including Rihanna, Adele and more.

Aguilera played "Heads Up" with Ellen. She had 60 seconds to do as many impressions of female singers as she could so Ellen could guess. With each correct guess, Aguilera moved on to another singer.

It only took Ellen one word, "Hello," to guess Adele, and Aguilera didn't even have to sing anything by Lady Gaga. Instead she exclaimed, "Born this way!" referencing the singer's popular song. For Rihanna, Aguilera sang "Work," but admitted afterward that she didn't really know the words.

Like Ariana Grande on Saturday Night Live, Aguilera performed an impressive number of singers, nailing each one with her powerful vocals. Watch it here.

Fatboy Slim Performs At Children's Rave

(Radio.com) Fatboy Slim may be a veteran of electronic music, but that didn't stop the 52-year-old DJ from performing a special rave for folks well under the drinking age. Consider it the latest expansion of the EDM explosion.

The phenomenon has reached new corners of the world the year--Diplo played a set as soon as travel restrictions were lifted in Cuba and Taylor Swift became an unofficial ambassador of the genre to mainstream pop.

But as EDM audiences grow and diversify, could children be the next demographic? Maybe that's what Fatboy Slim was thinking when he agreed to play for kids at his home city of Brighton this weekend. Read more here.
