Korn Go Postal
Rockdirt reports: For Korn, a platinum band that allegedly spent $4 million on its 2002 album 'Untouchables', fighting its label and MTV on their new video for 'Y'all Want a Single' may seem hypocritical. "I've had these frustrations from day one," frontman Jonathan Davis tells RollingStone.com, also chiding media conglomerates and the Federal Communications Commission for diluting the music scene. "We've always been about saying things people don't want to deal with. This is one of those issues."- Click Here for the Full Story

Courtney Love Song Theft

"Courtney Love wrote ‘Hold on to Me' in her living room in the spring of 2000. I know because I was there," Barber insisted. "I gave Courtney Love the chord changes over the phone on the morning she recorded it at 99X in May 2002." The track appears on her latest album, 'America's Sweetheart'. - Click Here for the Full Story

The cover of Slipknot's forthcoming album, Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses), shows this new mask, created by the band's visual and conceptual mastermind, Clown. The Slipknot percussionist conceived of the mask recently and continues to work on an actual version for fans while on the road headlining the Jägermeister Music Tour, which runs through May 14 in Sacramento, California.

Upon its completion, the mask will be available at Slipknot shows, potentially providing the performing band with a view of a sea of homogenous maggots, as Slipknot fans are called. [see full story for more and a peak at the cover art]- Click Here for the Full Story
