Disturbed & Finch Brawl
At Rolling Rock
Blabbermouth reports: DISTURBED and FINCH
got into an onstage brawl at the Rolling Rock Town Fair in Latrobe, PA
earlier today [Sat]. The fight, which took place while FINCH were preparing
to take the stage, was reportedly the culmination of an ongoing feud between
the two bands stemming from an interview FINCH gave to MeanStreet magazine
in late 2002. In that interview, FINCH guitarist Randy Strohmeyer said
about DISTURBED singer David Draiman, "I'd shoot him in the f***ing head.
I'd rip his stupid little piercings out. They're just cheesy. It bums me
out because their music is terrible, and what they're about, it's just
s***. Hopefully all that music will die out soon, and hopefully it will
make room for the good music." [see full story for more]-

Ebert: Metallica Should Call
It A Day
Sun Times reports: Rogert Ebert offered
up his review of Metallica's 'Some Kind of Monster' and his Dr Phil advise
for the band? Call it day.
Here is that portion of the review, click the full story to read it all: If "Metallica: Some Kind of Monster" has a message, it's great being a rock god up to a point, but most rock gods play the role long after it's much fun. Some people sing and tour forever (Willie Nelson, the Stones, McCartney). What Dr. Phil should probably advise Metallica is to call it a day. Why work with people you can't stand, doing work you're sick of, and that may be killing you? Lots of people have jobs like that, but Metallica has a choice. - Click Here for the Full Story
