antiMusic reports: A few days after she blasted tabloids for reporting that she was pregnant, pop star Britney Spears told her fans via a posting on her official website that she is indeed expecting a child. 

"The time has finally come to share our wonderful news that we are expecting our first child together. There were reports that I was in the hospital this weekend. Da Brat Brawl
MTV reports: In a scene straight out of "The Surreal Life," Da Brat's 31st birthday party in Chicago turned into a melee when two uninvited men bum-rushed the door. According to the Chicago Tribune, at around 1:30 Monday morning two men pushed passed security guards at the Harold Washington Cultural Center and got into a fistfight with security. Plant Vs Page
Blabbermouth reports: LED ZEPPELIN singer Robert Plant has hit back at his former bandmate Jimmy Page after the guitarist criticised him for not being present when the legendary rockers were awarded a Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award earlier this year. 

Plant, 56, is so busy with his current musical projects he decided against flying to Los Angeles for the award ceremony, preferring to rehearse with his new band in England. 

He says, "Jimmy had a bit of a go at me for not being there, but what can you do? What I'm doing now is more important to me.

AP reports: The stepfather of Michael Jackson's accuser testified Tuesday that after the broadcast of a damaging TV documentary about Jackson, an associate of the pop star offered the family a college education and a house. 

But the stepfather said when he sought money for the family, he was accused of blackmail.

Pollstar reports: Tickets for Bruce Springsteen's latest tour � a solo acoustic trek through theatres and scaled-down arenas starting April 25 � sold out almost immediately at many of its 14 scheduled venues. In an effort to stem the scalping tide, tour organizers have mounted a plan that will require ticket-holders to prove they were the original buyers.

Reuters reports: Willie Nelson's annual 4th of July Picnic concert will return to the Stockyards in Fort Worth, Texas, this summer, with Bob Dylan) and Los Lonely Boys on the bill. 

This will be the 32nd Independence day bash for Nelson, carrying on the tradition that he began in Dripping Springs, Texas, in 1973.

Foxy Brown Pleads
AP reports: Foxy Brown says she didn't beat up two nail salon workers over a $20 pedicure � and her toes are worth more than that anyway. "A $20 pedicure? Are you serious?" she joked to reporters Monday outside the courtroom where she pleaded not guilty to assault over the August 2004 incident. 

"I mean, look at me!" she said.

1 Rush Charge Dropped
Blabbermouth reports: Denes Husty III of News-Press.com is reporting that a charge filed against the daughter-in-law of RUSH guitarist Alex Lifeson was dismissed Monday (April 11) by a Florida judge. 

Michelle Joanne Zivojinovich, 31; her husband, Justin Shawn Zivojinovich, 34; and her father-in-law, Alex Zivojinovich, 51, were charged in connection with an alleged brawl with police at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in North Naples. 

At a hearing Monday, Collier County Judge Ramiro Manalich ruled there was insufficient evidence to prosecute Michelle Zivojinovich, of Ontario, Canada, on a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest without violence. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Scott Gottlieb RIP
Punkbands reports: Bleed the Dream posted this on their website today: On Sunday, April 10, 2005, Scott Gottlieb lost his battle with cancer. He had been fighting it since May 8, 2004 and was doing better and awaiting a bone marrow transplant. Then about a month ago he got an infection that he could not beat. It attacked his lungs and then the rest of the organs in his body.
