Slayer Murder Conviction
Blabbermouth reports: The Los Angeles Times is reporting that a 26-year-old man who wore a SLAYER shirt when he killed four members of a south Whittier, CA family was found guilty Tuesday of murder after forensic evidence tied him to the crime scene. 

According to the paper, SLAYER is a heavy metal band "known for lyrics about violence and death." Nearly a decade ago, three San Luis Obispo youths pleaded guilty to killing a 15-year-old girl, saying SLAYER's songs incited them to commit the crime. The girl's parents sued the band, but a judge threw out the lawsuit in 2001, ruling that the band's music is protected by the 1st Amendment.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Culkin To Testify?
CNN reports: Former child movie star Macaulay Culkin plans to testify on behalf of Michael Jackson in the singer's trial on child molestation charges, a source close to the case told CNN.

AHC Death Cause
Digital Noise reports: MTV.com is reporting that American Head Charge guitarist Bryan Ottoson died of a prescription drug overdose. 

Ottoson was found dead in his bunk yesterday evening in North Charleston, South Carolina. 

Police reportedly found a pill bottle containing "numerous amounts of prescription medicine" in Ottoson's bed.

Reuters reports: Seven albums released by Johnny Cash on Memphis' storied Sun Records label will be packaged together in a limited edition box set due May 24 from Varese Sarabande's Varese Vintage label, distributed through Universal. 

"The Original Sun Albums -- The Complete Collection" will comprise "Johnny Cash With His Red Hot and Blue Guitar" (1957), "Johnny Cash Sings the Songs That Made Him Famous" (1958), "Greatest!" Rush Charge Reduced
BW&BK reports: Naples Daily News (www.naplesnews.com) has issued the following report from John Henderson: 

A judge on Wednesday reduced the charge that a jury is considering against the son of the guitarist for the rock group, RUSH. 

Justin Zivojinovich is now charged with a misdemeanor - resisting arrest without violence - instead of a felony.
