Gigwise reports: 70's punk relics John Lydon and Jimmy Pursey kicked off when they bumped into each other in the US Embassy in London.

Contact Music reports: Hip-hop star SNOOP DOGG is venturing into the world of skateboarding, with the launch of the Snoop Dogg Board Company (SDBC).

People Have No Taste
Reuters reports: Teen pop star Hilary Duff topped the U.S. album charts Wednesday with a greatest hits collection culling tunes from her hefty catalog of two studio albums. 

"Most Wanted" (Disney's Hollywood Records) sold 208,000 copies in the week ended August 21, according to Nielsen SoundScan, sending incumbent champ Staind's "Chapter V" (Elektra/Atlantic) to No. 7 with 76,000 units in its second week.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Strokes Set Date

Ananova reports: Justin Timberlake is launching his own clothing label.

He has teamed up with best friend Trace Ayala to create a range of clothes.

More Stones
liveDaily reports: The Rolling Stones, who finished a two-show tour kick-off at Boston's Fenway Park on Tuesday night (8/23), have locked in a few more dates for their outing, and have secured opening acts for the rest of 2005. 

In addition to scheduling more shows, the Stones have added more high-profile artists to their rotating roster of opening acts, which now includes Alanis Morissette, Motley Crue, Jason Mraz, Merle Haggard, Buddy Guy, Los Lonely Boys, 54-50, Toots and the Maytals, and Dan Akroyd and Jim Belushi's new covers outfit, The Have Love Will Travel Revue. Also joining the fray is Everclear, which has been added to the bill for the Stones' mid-November, two-night stand in San Francisco. "The UK release for the new Paradise Lost album, Paradise Lost, has been unavoidably delayed by a few weeks. This is due to the fact that their UK Record Label, Century Media, has recently changed their distribution to EMI Worldwide. Oasis Delay
NME reports: NOEL GALLAGHER has told NME OASIS won't release any new material until 2007 � and he wouldn't be surprised if the next album isn't out until 2010. 

Speaking exclusively to NME, the guitarist said that currently the only plan is for a B-sides compilation next year, as the group will take most of the year off following their world tour which isn't set to finish until early next spring. 

He said: "We're touring till next March, and I'd have thought by February we'll be sick of the sight of each other. We'll probably have the rest of that year out, and Liam will write 500 songs, Gem (Archer) and Andy (Bell) will write a few and I'll go back to the ones I haven't finished off.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
