BW&BK reports: POISON frontman and life-long juvenile diabetic, BRET MICHAELS, and his former girlfriend Pamela Anderson are set to do battle again against another pornography distribution company who is threatening to put out the couple's sexually explicit tape on DVD.

Britney Vs Tween
Gigwise reports: Britney Spears has denied verbally abusing a 13 year old girl who was working on the set of her younger sisters TV show.

After hearing reports of tensions brewing between her little sis and co-star Alexa Nikolas, the pregnant singer rushed to the TV set to defend her 13 year old sister Jamie Lynn.

Journey Surgery
BW&BK reports: After the Jones Beach show on Sunday, Jonathan Cain [of Journey] was rushed to a local Long Island hospital complaining of stomach cramps. After examination and testing by the medical staff it was determined that he needed to have his appendix removed. BBC reports: Rock band The Who are to team up with McFly to record a version of their legendary 1965 hit My Generation to launch HMV's digital download site.

Sharon Vs Maiden Pt...
Blabbermouth reports: Sharon Osbourne spoke exclusively to Kerrang! magazine last week regading IRON MAIDEN's final performance on this year's Ozzfest tour, during which she cut MAIDEN's power and arranged to have the band pelted with eggs and debris from the crowd. A couple of excerpts from the interview follow:

Kerrang!: Reading between the lines of [IRON MAIDEN manager] Rod Smallwood's statement, the unspoken suggestion is that you orchestrated this whole thing...

Sharon Osbourne: "Of course I did. I had the PA turned on and off. And look, it's not hard for someone to walk into a diehard Ozzfest crowd and say, 'Who wants to throw an egg at a rock star?' Who wouldn't wanna do that? I went out and bought 50 eggs and me and my daughter had a f***ing blast. C'mon, it's rock 'n' roll. No-one died. Nugent Vs Bears
Blabbermouth reports: Rocker and hunting enthusiast Ted Nugent has volunteered to shoot bears in Manitoba following a fatal mauling of a 68-year-old man in the province last week.

Audio Aggression reports: Apple has sent out an invitation to the press that reads, "1,000 songs in your pocket changed everything. Here we go again." The New York Times is reporting the announcement is expected to be made next week where Apple will unveil the iTunes compatible cell phone made by Motorola. Dillinger Injury Plan
Relapse reports: Relapse Records recording artists THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN have been forced to pull out of their remaining GIGANTOUR live dates because of an injury to guitarist Ben Weinman. Weinman severely re-injured his arm Sunday night (having originally injured it several months ago) during the tour's stop in Atlantic City, NJ and was told by a specialist yesterday that he will be unable to perform until further notice. 

Weinman commented, "We were enjoying playing every night as part of Gigantour, and to not be able to finish the tour is an enormous disappointment to us."
