The White Stripes frontman announced his marriage to the world via whitestripes.com tonight (June 2), revealing that he tied the knot while his band were in Manaus, Brazil to play at the city's opera house.

They stand outside airports and hotels with guitars, scratch plates, magazines, and surprisingly not many CDs. It's pretty obvious they're selling the stuff, as they more often than not ask for us not to dedicate them -- and when they do (in the case of the guitars or scratch plates for instance), they use nail polish remover to wipe it off.
