(NME) ASH narrowly escaped disaster when their tour bus burst into flames following a recent gig in LOS ANGELES.

The band had finished a storming set at the city's Knitting Factory and were travelling to San Francisco for their gig the following night at the Shoreland Amphitheatre when they were awoken by their sound man yelling as the vehicle began to fill up with smoke.

After putting out the burning engine with an onboard fire extinguisher, Ash were forced to wait by the side of the road at 4am to wait for a new bus to pick them up. [see full story for more] - Click here for the Full Story
