U2 Deny Clinton/Santorum
liveDaily reports: U2 concerts will be the site for the upcoming political fundraisers of two disparate U.S. senators, but the band isn't endorsing the candidates or the events. 

Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, a Republican, reportedly plans to host a $1,000-per-person event at U2's Sunday (10/16) concert at Philadelphia's Wachovia Center. He's raising money for his re-election campaign. 

Meanwhile, New York Sen. Hillary Clinton, a Democrat, reportedly will be on hand for U2's Oct. 19 show at Washington, DC's MCI Center. She is hosting a $2,500-per-person fundraiser for one of her Political Action Committees.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Dead Boys Reunion
Punk Music reports: From the guts of the punk revolution in the mid-to-late 70s, emerged punk greats, Dead Boys. Though relocating to New York and becoming regulars at CBGB's, it all began in Cleveland, and the punk legends return to their roots to play a 30th Anniversary show on Halloween 2005 at the Beachland Ballroom. Hepatitis Punk Benefit
Punk Music reports: Kelly Zirbes of Kelly's Lot has been leading up an effort to help raise awareness about Hepatitis C since 2000 when her friend, Gioia, died from the virus. Over the past four years, she has organized shows and toured all over the country. Today, Kelly is leading up the "Hep C Postcard campaign" and the awareness concert series "Punk Rock Unites for Hepatitis C."

Motorhead Theft
Blabbermouth reports: MOTÖRHEAD drummer Mikkey Dee had his wallet stolen after a concert in Gothenburg, Sweden last Friday (Oct. 7). Payola Don't Pay
punkbands reports: Months after one of the world's largest record companies reached a $10 million settlement with New York State Attorney General Elliot Spitzer over charges of payola, radio giant Clear Channel Communications has fired two programmers for allegedly engaging in "pay for play."

According to a Reuters report, the world's largest radio operator announced Tuesday that it had fired the two unnamed programmers following an internal probe that uncovered evidence of wrongdoing by the two.
