The Federal Court instructed Sharman Networks, the file sharer's owner, to change their system to prevent future piracy.
Ruling against Kazaa. Judge Murray Wilcox said: "(It's) long known that the Kazaa system is widely used for the sharing of copyright files", adding the website appeared, "to encourage visitors to think it 'cool' to defy the record companies by ignoring copyright constraints".
