Gatemouth Brown RIP

(Gigwise) News came through this weekend that grammy-award winning guitarist and singer Clarence 'Gatemouth' Brown has died in Texas at the age of 81.

Brown, a jazz and blues artist who made his name in the 1940s, had been suffering from lung cancer and heart disease.

The musician was said to have been "devastated " after his home in Slidell, Louisiana was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. "I'm sure he was heartbroken, both literally and figuratively," said Rick Cady, booking agent for the star.[see full story for more] - Click here for the Full Story
