Motley Injury
KNAC reports: Motley Crue lead singer Vince Neil broke his leg performing at a concert Friday night (September 16th). The band was about five songs into the concert at downtown Atlanta's Philips Arena when Neil leaned over to sing along with the audience and slipped off stage, said Atlanta Police Department spokeswoman Sylvia Abernathy.

He was treated at Piedmont Hospital and released Saturday, hospital spokeswoman Diana Lewis said.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

NIN Hospitalized
Audio Aggression reports: Nine Inch Nails have cancelled their September 17th concert in Tucson, AZ. Drummer Jerome Dillon was hospitalized last night after the group's San Diego show was cut short due to him having chest pains and an irregular heartbeat. Jay-Z's War
MTV reports: Some people have rubbed the president of Def Jam the wrong way � and we might just be hearing another "Takeover" in a little over a month. Jay-Z was on New York radio station Power 105.1 on Thursday afternoon and said that he is ready to take it to the battlefield.

"I declare war!" Jay said. Hov told radio personality Ed Lover that he's been hearing some rappers talking greasy about him and he is going to "air them out" onstage.

Love Gets Rehab
Gigwise reports: Despite using drugs whilst on probation, Courtney Love has avoided a 180-day prison sentence, for apparently already making progress.

LA Superior Court Judge Rand Rubin praised Love for making an �excellent first step' to recovery and only sentenced her to a further six months in the live-in rehabilitation centre which she entered last month after she had violated her probation by substance abuse.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Andy Howard RIP
Metal Underground reports: Former TWISTED METHOD guitarist Andy Howard was reportedly found dead in his bed Friday afternoon (September 16). He was 23 years old. Howard left TWISTED METHOD back in May, citing his desire to take care of his twin girls at home as the reason for his departure.

According to The News-Press, TWISTED METHOD were one of only two rock acts to originate in Lee County, Florida and go on to sign national recording contracts. The band were signed to MCA in 2002 and released "Escape from Cape Coma" the following year. Veruca Salt Return
Aversion reports: Veruca Salt -- or at least the version of it that released its last album -- is staging a comeback.

The band plans to release a full-length album next year. For now, it self-released EP, Lords of Sounds and Lesser Things available at its shows and through its web site. Blabbermouth reports: Billboard.com is reporting that the DEAD KENNEDYS' 1980 punk rock classic "Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables" will be reissued Oct. 25 in a 25th anniversary edition by Manifesto Records with a bonus DVD documentary.
