(Press Release) LA's premier Cambodian psychedelic pop band (!) Dengue Fever is back with a new CD, a record release party, quite a few bay area shows and a live in store @ Sea Level Records. So what makes this band so different from all the other music you are listening to? How about a line from the LA Times who said, "If you can imagine a band where a Cambodian beauty queen shares the stage with Rasputin, Barry White, Allen Ginsburg, Michael Hutchence and Brian Wilson, you'd have a pretty good idea." Oh and lead singer Ch'hom Nimol sings in her native language, Khmer.
